Albert Bradley '15, a member of the board of directors of the General Motors Corporation since 1933 and Executive Vice President since 1942, has been named Chairman of the Board, succeeding Alfred P. Sloan Jr., who retired last month. Mr. Bradley, who joined General Motors in 1919, is chairman of the finance committee, a member of the operations policy committee and has served in various executive capacities. He is chairman of the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation.

A Trustee of Dartmouth College and a member of the Board of Overseers of Amos Tuck School, Mr. Bradley was awarded the honorary Doctor of Laws degree by Dartmouth in June 1954.
