The current Alumni Fund Drive is naturally first in the news. Class Agent Bob Snedaker and his assistants have whipped the campaign off to a fast start. You must help to make it a fast and successful finish. We are proud of a fine group of "Squaw-kers" from Newsletter Editor Hugh Chapin.

George Bean is with the National Bank of Commerce in Norfolk, Va., as auditor's assistant. Ken Coyne continues his teaching career with the physical education department of the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. Ken has taught in Germany, Honolulu, and New York City. Bob Shallow is sales manager with Suburban Home Service Co., Providence, R. I. Dr. Bill Yakovac is at the U. S. Naval Hospital, Great Lakes, Ill. Julian Schmer has changed his name to JulianSayer.

Jim Holway is on active duty with the Navy and working for the "Talos" guided missile program, while assigned to Navy Guided Missile Unit 22 at White Sands Proving Grounds. He is on leave of absence from his position as a senior engineer at the Westinghouse Electric Corp. Air Arm Division, Baltimore.

We are pleased to hear of the birth of Richard Durham Madison 3rd to Barbara and Dick Madison, their first child. Ed Scully seems to have settled down as president of Mass. Theater Inc., living in Pittsfield, Mass., and probably still operator-owner of the State Theatre there. Dick Shribman is self-employed in the real estate and insurance business in Salem, Mass.

Moon Sundin is chief design engineer with Baxter & Woodman, Civil and Sanitary engineers in Crystal Lake, Ill. George Swaye is a partner in the Sand A. Department Store in Hartford, Conn. After serving for the past five years in the U. S. Foreign Service in Indo China, Tokyo and London, Bob Teaze is now back at school in San Francisco, Calif. BenTice is organization and methods examiner in the Planning & Comptroller Dept., at the Naval Supply Depot in San Diego, Calif.

Jim Vanderbeek continues as a field geologist with Stanolind Oil-Gas Co. in Havana, Cuba. Chuck Way continues with Richardson, Gordon & Assoc. in Pittsburgh, Pa., as resident engineer. Herb Wik is a field underwriter salesman with the Paul Revere Life Insurance Co., Worcester, Mass. Bill Wood continues as partner in the Wood-Evans Ins. Agency in Cambridge, Mass. Burt Zuckernik is vice president of Palco Chemical Corp. in Charleston, Mass. Berkess Carroll is manager of the Chelsea, Mass., Motor Mart.

Jack Gray is in the office of the city manager of Dallas, Texas, as administrative assistant. Franklin Johnson is a management engineer with the New Haven Railroad in New Haven, Conn. "Harpo" Miller continues with the Heco Envelope Co. as vice president.

While you are in the mood, notice some of the reunion write-ups coming this year and make plans now to be available next year for our Tenth.
