Bequest Chairman,

Wattie told you about the reunion in the July issue of the ALUMNI MAGAZINE. At the class dinner Duckie gave the memorial talk about Percy Dorr and sent a letter, signed by all those present. In reply Mrs. Dorr wrote:

"I appreciated getting the letter signed by everyone more than I can write. My heart is too full to say any more, but I know you understand how hard it is to write."

Your new Secretary has heard from several classmates who were at the reunion.

Bill and Lou Howard have been at their home in Keene Valley, N. Y., but expect to migrate to Florida later this Fall.

Jim Huntington writes that a story about "Forty Acres" may appear in Life Magazine. At least the photographers spent a day there. It keeps Jim busy showing the historic house.

Julius Arthur Brown is to teach Physics at Colby College, Waterville, Me., this coming year.

Louie Dow writes that he and Ethel are enjoying the summer at their home on the Cape.

Bob C. Clark writes that he and Jessie had a good visit with Frank and Bertha Moore in the latter's home in North Amherst, Mass. Frank is still active surveying properties and searching ownership titles.

Karl and Gertrude Brackett have an attractive home in Campton, N. H. We called on them and later my sister, who lives in Holderness, had the' four of us for lunch. One of Karl's hobbies is braiding rugs and he is an artist of exceptional ability.

Soap and Ada Davis get the prize for mileage to the reunion. On their return trip to California, they were met at San Bernardino by car for a several weeks' motor trip through California, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, Montana, Washington and Oregon. He also wanted me to thank Wattie for taking them on a trip through Vermont. Phil Thompson told me Soap attended his reunion at Thetford Academy and was the last remaining member of his class.

Esty and Ethel Estabrook write that their daughter and three grandchildren visited them this summer. Duckie Drake had lunch with them enroute to his place at Hyannisport.

Marion and I visited the Phil Thompsons in Portland. Had a wonderful time and heard about the weekend with Duckie at his summer home on the Cape.

Clara and Leslie Farr write they are spending the summer at Waterford, Vt. According to the Littleton, N. H. Courier of June 27 "Alumni of Littleton High School had the greatest homecoming in the history of the community last June". Leslie class of 1898 and Clara class of 1900 were there.

Helen Chivers writes that Arthur was in the State Legislature until August 2. She has been busy with decorating.

Wattie had us over for lunch at his summer place on New Found Lake, N. H. His cottage is near Pasquane Camp for boys, where he started as a Councilor in 1900 and is now a Trustee. The cottage is named "Kef-Yali" (Turkish for loafer's waterfront palace). We had a delightful visit.

One of the pleasant reminders of the reunion was made by Chet Studwell with the candid camera shots he sent to all the group.

A Wah Hoo Wah for Herman Farwell who put 1902 over the top in the Alumni Fund.

Secretary, 1600 Hinman Ave. Evanston, Ill.

Treasurer, 18 Lafayette Circle, Wellesley 81, Mass.
