Two events of importance took place th past summer on our club's activity sheet was the annual stag picnic on June 22 "Gladford Glen," the lovely and pictures estate of Jim Rutherford '24. About 90 alum and undergraduates turned out for a program of baseball, horseshoes, dinner prizes (from Campion's). A new addition to the day's sporting activities was the introduction of "frisbee," or "zazz," by some of the undergraduates. Buck Pinkerton and Bruce Eagan, both class of '59, were especially enthusiastic in showing the game to the local group. Bob Gould '32, made it possible for the brewery he works for to deliver sufficient quantities of ale and beer to keep everyone cooled off and in a relaxed mood. The Club was again fortunate in having Dick Blum '53, head the picnic committee. His enthusiasm and hard work result in good times for all who attend and it looks like he has made himself an annual chairman for each picnic is better than the previous year's.

We added to our scholarship fund campaign on August 6 when Frank Treadway'50, sold over 200 tickets to "Cinerama Holiday."
