The activities of the Dartmouth Alumni Association of the Great Divide for this past summer have been in the capable hands of Steve Cowperthwaite '52, our Entertainment Chairman. On Wednesday, July 10, Steve and his Committee arranged the Annual Stag Picnic at the Farm of Ned Grant '3O at Littleton. A good crowd of alumni and undergraduates had an opportunity to meet the members of the Class of '61. The new freshmen were introduced by Dr. Cal Fisher '32, our Admissions Chairman for this past year. On Saturday, September 7, Steve's Committee set up the Annual Dartmouth Squaw Picnic at Daniels Park, where a crowd of some 60 couples gathered for a baseball game and picnic supper.

Bob Fullerton '51 is our new Admissions Chairman for Colorado, and his program is already off to a good start.

On Saturday, December 21, we will again hold Dartmouth Day here in Denver, with the Christmas Luncheon to be held in the Mural Room of the Albany Hotel for alumni, the undergraduates, their fathers and the applicants for the Class of '62. Later in the afternoon of the same day the Christmas Cocktail Party will be held at the University Club from 5:30 to 7:30 P.M. for all alumni, their wives, undergraduates and their dates. You are all invited.

You have read previously of the notice of the death of William W. Grant '03, a life trustee of the College. Alumni throughout the nation will miss his fine spirit and keen guidance.
