The Charles River Dartmouth Club held a successful meeting in December with Coach Blackman and Coach Prager showing some excellent pictures of football and skiing with appropriate comments. The Aborns, Austins, Greggs, and Lowells represented 1914.
Rufe Sisson's Clarkson hockey team had a successful invasion of Boston back in December.
The weekly luncheons at Patten's in Boston have been graced in recent sessions by the presence of Ev Barnard whom we had not seen for some time.
The New York Times reports that Thorndike Saville is retiring as Dean of the College of Engineering, New York University. He has held this office since 1935. After leaving this post he will serve as a consultant in water supply, hydrology, and coastal engineering.
Whether it was the potency of the refreshments or just senility is a question, but I failed to record the fact that the Pianes and Warner Bentleys were present at Nary's Pow-Wow before the Columbia game - abject apologies herewith!
Bert Symonds decided he did not like retirement so has joined the staff of the Newton-Waltham (Mass.) Bank and Trust Com- pany. Business Development will be his responsibility.
