The forty-third annual meeting of the Cheshire County Dartmouth Alumni Association was held at Winding Brook Lodge, Thursday evening, December 27. Seventy enthusiastic members and guests were present.

Robert A. (Red) Rolfe, Director of Athletics at Dartmouth, was the principal speaker of the evening and gave the alumni a fine report of the athletic situation at Dartmouth today. Football and basketball are coming along nicely and Dartmouth should be in contention for the Ivy League title for the next three or four years. Red also noted that the Big Ten and Pacific Conferences have developed their rules along the patterns similar to the Ivy League. In answer to many questions, Red said he thought that Blackman and his staff would stay at Dartmouth in preference to moving again as has been hinted in metropolitan dailies.

In a short business session the followingofficers were elected for the ensuing year:President, Robert M. Clark Jr. '43, Vice President, Robert C. Mensel '41, and Secretary-Treasurer, Russell G. Putney '22.
