The annual meeting of the club was held Friday evening March 29 at the Wellesley Country Club with an attendance of 90 alumni and wives who enthusiastically welcomed two fine Hanover speakers. The "Pow Wow" got under way at 6:30 at the Wheelock Tavern with a social hour. It was again interesting note that the span of alumni classes at the gathering ranged from 1906 through 1954.

At the conclusion of the dinner, President John M. Boermeester '31 called for a short business meeting at which time the nominating committee presented their slate for the ensuing year. The slate of officers and executive committee members voted on is as follows: For President - John M. Boermeester '31 for Vice-President - Henry L. JohnsonJr. '31; and Edward W. Martin '41; for Secretary - Richard C. Litchfield '22; and for Treasurer - George B. Pierce '45. The executive committee is composed of: RichardB. Sanders '29; Philip A. Rising '29; RobertC. Bankart '37; William B. Squiers '41; Robert H. Austin '41; Frederick W. Nichols '42;Dr. L. Bradford Thompson '42; John B. Williamson '42; Jack B. Whitman '46 and RobertT. Harvey '47. Ex officio —John B. Kennerson '28 - Chairman of the Enrollment Committee.

The evening was a most rewarding one with Professor John Hulton Wolfenden of the Chemistry department giving a very entertaining and informative talk on the new three-term program which the College recently voted to adopt. He discussed at some length many interesting phases of the college curriculum and at the conclusion of his talk held a question and answer period for the alumni. Accompanying Professor Wolfenden was Thomas E. O'Connell '50, Executive Assistant to President Dickey. He brought to the gathering a most exciting and interesting talk on the future plans of the College with particular stress on the new building plans and the much needed plant equipment so vital to Dartmouth's progress and growth. Alumni were greatly interested to learn the details of these plans and it was a great pleasure to have Tom O'Connell give us firsthand information relative to the many projects now under way on Hanover Plain.
