"PRESIDENT DICKEY, on the recommendation of the Committee on Senior Fellowships, has appointed nine members of the Class of 1959 as Senior Fellows for next year. Under the guidance of a faculty adviser, each of these men will be freed from regular academic obligations in order to pursue independent study on a project of his own selection.

The Senior Fellows and their projects are:

George Lefcoe, Miami, Fla., "The Relationship of Certain Historical Views of Human Nature, Particularly Those of Machiavelli and Hobbes, to Political Ideals and to Modern Psychological Doctrine."
