With this issue, ye editor shuts up shop for the summer with the hope that by fall enough good news may dribble in to make a respectable column. Remember, it is you who make our column and not the editor who should not be blamed for lack of news.

We understand that Don projected trip around the world has had to be cancelled as Mrs. Don does not feel up to it. For his sake we hope that this may not prove to be so, but for our sake we hope that it may be that Don will be in Hanover with us.

An interesting bit of history took place in Brunswick, Ga., recently when Fort Fredericka was dedicated as a national monument. It is pertinent to our class as Mrs. E. W. G. Chapman (Bert Wheeldon's widow) took a prominent part with the honor of opening the Museum door. Mrs. Chapman is a descendant of the Philip Delegals, father and son, officers at the 1736 fort, which was the scene of a battle in 1742 where the Spanish who then occupied Florida were defeated by a smaller force in which Delegals took a prominent part.

Larry and Dorothy Symmes are on a European jaunt but will of course be back and with us in Hanover for the big 50th.

Art Anderson calls it a day. An article in the Franklin, N. H., Independent relates that Arthur retired from the Arthur S. Brown Co., manufacturers of endless belts, where he has been in charge of sales for the past 23 years, and has had an important part in the development of the company. The Art Andersons make their home in Loudon, N. H.

Mike Stearns, Larry Treadway and the writer have just returned from Hanover where we had been attending the annual Class Officers Meeting. Final plans were completed for our Big 50th and we feel that you will like 'em. Until then, pâté de fois gras.
