Ever mindful of the "spend now" exhortations of D.D. Eisenhower '53, we sallied forth to the annual meeting at Wulff's Island on April 18 to see if we couldn't do our patriotic part toward bringing about a recession of the recession. While our success in that maneuver was, apparently, something less than spectacular, we did have a mighty fine time - good food, good drinks, and good company. We got a bang out of seeing the Big Green in action on the football field once again, even if it was only on film. The officers elected for the coming year are: President, Rodger Trump '38; Vice President, Bill Randall '52; Secretary, John Zillmer '48; and Treasurer, Bud Bray '50. A vote of thanks should go to retiring President Geoff Maclay '45 and retiring Vice President Casey McKibben '51. A large measure of the success of the past year can be attributed to the tremendous amount of thought and effort put in by them.
The annual undergraduate luncheon was held way back on December 27 at the University Club in Milwaukee. This meeting of alumni, undergrads and their fathers, and applicants and their fathers is, we feel, one of the outstanding events that we put on each year. More of you should make an effort to attend this annual event in the future.
Please note that we have moved our Wednesday noon luncheons up on top of the bluff to the Cudworth Post, 1756 N. Prospect Ave., Milwaukee. The food and service are good. The view out over the lake is magnificent. Why not stop up next Wednesday noon?
DON'T FORGET TO PAY YOUR DUES.
