So tar as I know we have three classmates who have not retired. I£ I am incorrect please advise your secretary. The June notes told of Wattie going to St. Paul's College in Lawrenceville, Va. Copies of newspaper stories about Julius Arthur Brown and Harold Plumer will be sent in a class letter. Also a story about Duckie Drake being elected a director emeritus of the Gulf Oil Corp.

Had a short visit with Duckie in August, he called while he was visiting his birthplace, Pittsfield, N. H. Wattie stopped to see us on his way to Hanover from Maine. He did not take the auto trip to the state of Washington but went by air. The Dows spent the summer at So. Dartmouth, Mass. Ethel wrote they motored to Mt. Desert, Me. to visit friends and it is wonderful to hear that there are parts of the country unchanged from pre-war days. Before giving up their boat they had sailed the Eastern coast for many years but had not been there since 1941. The Irvins had a good summer in N. H., and when you read this will have been back in Evanston several weeks.
