No, you can't make it by skis, sleigh, dogsled or iceboat 'cause the snow will be gone and the ice will be out of the river. But the crocuses will be in bloom and by car, plane, train or scooter bike you can get back to Hanover for our Twoters little reunion on April 24, 25, 26. Bring Ma or Grandma, whichever she may be, with the children and the grandchildren - yes even mothers-in-law are invited. Anyone in any way related to Dartmouth's most loyal clan - the class of '22 —is heartily welcome. Rest your ulcer and treat your folks to Hanover in the spring. It's better than a junior prom —no headaches, no heartaches, no formality, no need to wear your toupee, even leave your store teeth at home if you'd be more comfortable. Regardless of disguise and distinction, can't fool your classmates. We remember when both you and the seat of your trousers were thin. Reunion theme "I'm glad I'm not young anymore." Yes, but no one will know me because I haven't been back before. Are you kidding? Gad, man, how could anyone ever forget you? Remember the time, etc. etc. Arrive Thursday or Friday as you see fit - you won't be lonely. The Hanover Inn is waiting to hear from you. Call, write, or semaphore your reservation now.

By microwave from Phoenix comes good news that our Laurens L. Henderson has been named judge of the Superior Court of Maricopa County, Ariz. Congratulations from the clan to Larry, Mary Alice and the boys.

Any Twoters still trying to pass bar exams in New Hampshire? Be well prepared because Bob Booth of Booth, Wadleigh, Langdell, Starr and Peters - only a personal opinion but isn't there more euphony in Merrill Lynch and the people? - anyway, our Bob has been appointed by the New Hampshire Supreme Court for a three-year term as chairman of the State Bar Commission.

From Air Force Headquarters comes word that "General Walter Irwin Miller, Dartmouth College 1922 and Amos Tuck School 1923" —as if we didn't proudly know —is serving with distinction as Deputy Chief of Staff at USAFE Headquarters, Wiesbaden, Germany. It's good to hear of our Ike and Harriett whom we all look forward to seeing back in Hanover one of these fine days. Could it be April 24, 25, 26?

With the Capital Gifts Campaign under rapid momentum in Greater Boston, Ray Atwood has joined the honored list of Twoters working earnestly in behalf of the College. Ray is leading a group of workers in the Newton area.

The Boston Alumni Dinner in January was again the occasion for a congenial gathering of Twoters: Bill and Odie Lee Bullen, Carroll and Nan Dwight, Carter and Alie Hoyt, Fran and Lucy Leland, Bill and Betty Mann, Ced and Emma Porter, Walt and Doris Sands, and your scribe. We missed some other loyal Twoters who were kept away by illness and out of town demands.

Thank heaven for little boys who grow up to become golfers always hoping for a better score. From unverified and thoroughly unreliable but occasionally and completely coincidentally truthful sources of scandal now comes a startling report on Gunny Gunnison, Tony Hanlon and Oscar Rice. This erstwhile youthful trio of our college golf team having nostalgically navigated a golf course together last summer is now considering the idea of hitting the tournament trail to compete with Ben Hogan, Sam Snead et al. Dear Abby, are the males' advancing years sometimes accompanied by illusions of grandeur?

Our class sons continue to become engaged: Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence H. Brown of Waban, Mass., have announced the engagement of their daughter Barbara to Jed W. Bullen, son of Bill and Odie Lee.

One regrettably sad note: belated information indicates that Elbert Leroy Reynolds passed away in September 27, 1957 in Westerly, R. I. If any classmate has additional information your secretary would appreciate hearing from him.

With only two changes of address it looks as though we're beginning to stabilize: A. Pollock Boyd, 212 Robert E. Lee Apts., 2108 Hayes St., Nashville 4, Tenn.; Norton R. Younglove, P. O. Box 9003, Seattle 9, Wash.

Red Boyd's new address calls for a note of warning to him. As captain of our college golf team he'll be hearing from those other youths (?) in that hopeful trio. The name of Red's new apartment won't discourage these Massachusetts lads one bit. And frankly. Red, if they ever needed counsel and guidance now is the time.

Somewhere in these notes we meant to say something about a little reunion in Hanover on April 24, 25, 26 but in the late fifties you know how easy it is to forget.
