A meeting of the Class Executive Committee was held as scheduled on October 21 at the Dartmouth Club of New York City. Twelve members were present to discuss a wide range of class problems. Those present included: Fritz Alexander, Al Bildner, Jess Chadwell, Hugh Chapin, Norm Falkin, Norm Fink, Jiggs Fuller, Joe Kurey, Joe Scandore, Ralph Warburton, Bill Wood, and Rube Samuels. Subjects discussed included class treasury, class agent organization for the coming Alumni Fund drive, Newsletter schedule, class officers' responsibilities, the addition of members to the Class Executive Committee, class directory to be published in 1962, memorial work being done by George Bingham, our 1962 Reunion, birthday cards, and a job clearing house. The next meeting of the Class Executive Committee is scheduled at the Dartmouth Club of New York City, Friday, March 18, 1961, at 5:30 P.M. All classmates are invited to attend. Further details will appear in the next issue of the Squaw-ker.

Phil Booth continues his association with the English Department of Wellesley College, and has recently moved to Lincoln, Mass. Tex Bussell is the Executive Assistant Provisioning Director with the U.S. Navy in Philadelphia. Previous to this he was a Supply and Logistics Consultant with Consultants and Designers, Inc., Arlington, Va. Tex attended Baylor Law School in Texas in 1954 and began his career in supply work at the U.S. Naval Aviation Supply Demand Point in Philadelphia in 1948. Wallace Clark is the owner of the Clark Company, an advertising firm in Burlingame, Calif. Our last record associates him with the Scott-Stop Motel System, Inc., in California. Ken Coyne continues his teaching career at the Emerson Junior High School in Los Angeles, Calif. Ken began teaching at the Punahou School in Honolulu in 1948. Since that time, he has taught and coached in New York City, Weisbaden, Germany, and now in Los Angeles, Calif. In 1956 he was a Physical Education instructor at the University of Southern California.

Ed Grady is Operating Manager of the Graybar Electric Company in Syracuse, N. Y. Ed has been with Graybar since 1947 except for service in the Marine Corps in 1951. He has returned to Syracuse, N. Y., from his previous assignment in Rockville, Conn., where he was assigned for approximately six years. George Houze has recently moved from Pittsburgh, Penna., to West Kingston, Ontario, Canada. George is in the insurance business. Lt. Cmdr. Al Kaplan has been reassigned from New York City to Alexandria, Va.

Jeff Mills continues as President of Data Processing Corporation. Lloyd Smith is Reactor Plant Supervisor with Westinghouse Electric Corporation in Newport News, Va. In this assignment Lloyd continues his association with Westinghouse Electric in their Atomic Power Division which began ,in 1952 in Montana and Idaho. Before this, his most recent assignment was as Supervising Engineer in Quincy, Massachusetts.

Ralph Warburton is an Account Executive with Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner and Smith, Inc., in Providence, R. I. We understand the Warburton Wiks and Crosen families visited together in Providence after the Brown game. Norm Fink is the Chairman of his local Dartmouth interviewing committee in New York Gity. Rube Samuels continues as Chief Engineer and Treasurer of Thomas Crimmins Company, is also Vice President of the Board of Education in Paramus, N. J. Joe Scandore is manufacturing paper tubing in East Paterson, N. J. Norm Falkin is an engineer with Long Island Lighting Company in Hicksville, N. Y. Norm and his wife are expecting a third addition to their fine family in March. Fritz Alexander and his wife are expecting an addition to their family Christmas time. Their first child, Karen, is now five years old.

Dr. Hardy Hendren is on the staff of Children's Hospital - Medical Center in Boston, Mass. He appeared in August in Portland, Me, as one of a panel of experts at the twelfth annual Maine Pediatric Institute for General Practitioners. Sam Tassel, Lynn, Mass., businessman, won the Democratic nomination for State Representative in the 14th District, Massachusetts. Sam was nominated for the Lynn City Council from Ward 5 in 1953 and again in 1955 but lost out in the elections.

Fred Cushing has been General Manager of Currier and Company since 1953 in Lebanon, N. H. Previously he was associated with R. H. Macy's in New York City and R. H. White's in Boston. Currier's celebrated its 100th anniversary this past September. Royal Brush has been elected a Director of the Suffolk Association of Insurance Agents. Royal is a partner in the Sammis, Smith, and Brush Insurance Agency of Huntington. Howard Bauman has been appointed store manager of Unimart in Chula Vista, Calif. The store is a combined supermarket and department store. Previously Howard was assistant merchandise manager with the same organization in San Diego.

Ed Brophy was awarded the Chartered Life Underwriter designation at the National Conferment Exercises of the American College of Life Underwriters in Washington, D. C., on September 14, 1960. In order to qualify for this designation Ed had to pass a series of professional examinations as well as meet stringent experience and ethical requirements. Ed is the Manager of the New York City Mutual of New York Agency. Ralph Roth is Business Manager of the Grand Forks, N. D., Herald. He is in charge of all newspaper departments, except editorial, and the task of producing a good 35,000 circulation daily newspaper. He was recently elected Vice President and also named to the Board of Directors of the Herald Building Company. Ralph and his wife, Barbara, enjoy living in Grand Forks with their two boys, Mark, four, and Harold, six. They ski in the winter, golf in the summer.
