Had a nice letter from our Class Newsletter Editor, Charlie Raymond, this month in the course of which there were various snide remarks about my skiing generally and about how wonderful the skiing is in New England this winter. Then he went on to say "So far this season we have made one-day trips to Hogback and Bousquet's at Pittsfield, and Eleanor, Alan and I spent a weekend in Hanover and skied at Oak Hill and Sunapee. Probably will go once more in March and maybe get a touch of spring skiing in April at Wildcat. Alan enjoys it a lot and I trail along.

"Chip has been playing basketball at Wilbraham and is looking forward to high jumping this spring. We have been up for a couple of games. He has been invited to spend a week in Bermuda and since he did a good job last summer, earning over $500, we have given him the nod. Sally, in the first semester of her sophomore year, is majoring in Zoology and Amherst is her minor - at the moment she is pinned. Alan has been playing basketball at Peck and is very active in scouting. He goes to Toronto this summer on the Scout exchange. Having him home keeps

We had to go to the Needham, Mass., paper to discover that Joe Hancort is head of the investment advisory department of Brown Brothers, Harriman and Company. This came to light in an article describing a talk he was to give to the Simmons Club of Wellesley.

A brief note from Houston Boyles to WallyBlakey indicates that he is planning to return for the 30th. Everybody is going.

We were delighted to have a business conversation with Al Marsters a week or so ago, and he volunteered that he would be there; and he added that Joe Golan had also said he was planning on it.

News has crowded out the address changes for a few issues but here are all the recent moves of the Class:

As you are all aware Herm Schneebeli down in Pennsylvania is conducting a campaign for Congress and the press in the area reports he's doing a real job of it - in fact they say "he certainly talks and acts like an old pro."

On December 10 Charlie Humiston joined New York Life as Director of Marketing Research. Charlie and his family continue to live in Bernardsville, N.J.

It was good to get back to Boston for a day a couple of weeks ago and spend an hour with Alex McFarland, who reports his family all fine, with both Bruce and Carol away at college. Alex reported that at least the following were present at the Boston Alumni Association Dinner on February 10: Dean Wiggin, Rollie Booma, Hal Booma (have you noticed his son playing on the hockey team?), Pete Lillard, Red Doherty, .Howie Eldredge, Snub Poehler, Ed Butterworth, Johnny Coppock, Les Godwin, Walt Birnie, Ernie and Dave Latham, Jack Rich and Ed Carroll sitting at the head table as president of a suburban club.

The month's mail brought a card from Lee Chilcote who has been skiing in northern Michigan with Brownie Neff at the Otsego Ski Club. We missed them both because we were also north skiing.

We were more lucky when Harry Condon came to town in his travels for Massachusetts Investors Trust. He had been surveying the aircraft companies on the Coast and was in Detroit visiting the automobile companies. Gwennie and I were delighted to have dinner with him and to hear all the plans for reunion. It's going to be a great time! Harry reported having lunch with Chuck Faye and Hank Embree. Hank and his good wife were in the process of getting ready for a trip to the South Seas. Harry also had dinner with the Karl Rodis in California.
