More than ninety alumni and their wives turned out to hear Professor John B. Stearns '16 and to honor the oldest alumni of the area at the April Meeting of the Dartmouth Club of Bridgeport held at the Continental Restaurant in Fairfield. This was the largest attendance at any function since World War II and Co-Chairmen Stan Curtis '24 and JimBroderick '45 are to be complimented for their excellent job.

Bill Ham '97, the oldest alumnus in the area, was introduced by Club President, Ralph Sperry '39, and presented with an ash tray to mark the occasion. Ray Builter '36 introduced Dr. Arthur Sides 'OB. Illness prevented Charles Pearson '09 from being present. Charles A. C. Thomas '10 was introduced by Stan Curtis '24. Sargent Eaton '11 told some anecdotes about Jack Conners '14. Each of the honored alumni made some brief comments about the Dartmouth of his day.

Professor Stearns talked to the club on the Dartmouth of today and how the scene is rapidly changing in Hanover. Charlie O'Neill '31 led the group in several songs throughout the evening.

In his closing remarks, President Sperry announced that the next club event would be a picnic in mid-June.
