The March 5 issue of the Providence Journal has a three-column story entitled "Engineer Retires for Fourth Time." Clerk of works for the new Henry J. Winters School on Broadway was none other than our classmate, Tim Richards. After a visit with his daughter at Greenwich, Conn., Tim and Carlotta will spend a few weeks in Florida, then will return to their home, 18 Daniels St., Pawtucket, R.I. In the February issue of the ALUMNI MAGAZINE it was stated that their new home address was Chepachet, R.I., and mail address Box 217, which is incorrect. Chepachet is their summer home and has been for several years.
On March 2 there was an unusual situation in the Don Williams family, for on that day four generations were in hospitals. Don's wife, Grace, and son-in-law Charles Medvedofsky were in the Keene Hospital, and Charles' daughter, Mrs. Leah D. Strober, Doris' granddaughter gave birth to a daughter on that same day at the Beverly, Mass., Hospital. The newly born is Don's fifth great-grandchild.
Augustus Wiswall and Alice of Wakefield, Mass., write that Augustus has been in the N.E. Baptist Hospital for an operation and that he is back home feeling much better. They promise to reunite with us in 1967. Hope that they can make good.
Arthur Howland Leavitt and Elsie of Fairfax, Va., are enjoying good health and wish to be remembered to you all. Arthur is a descendant of John Howland of the May-flower Landing of the Pilgrims at Plymouth Mass., 1630 as is my wife, Ethel Slocomb Grebenstein.
"Hobbs" Knight and Maude of Ogunquit, Me., sent me a souvenir program of the musical comedy in three acts of "If I Were Dean" played at Bissell Hall, Monday, June 24, 1907. You will recall that it was an outstanding performance by some 55 Dartmouth men of our time.
Dr. Harry Whittaker and Miriam of DeBary, Fla., are looking forward to attending Miriam's 50th reunion at Mt. Holyoke Col lege this June, and will try to make Hanover for our informal reunion.

Bob Kenyon sends word from Anna Maria, Fla., that Ethel Mary Stewart Leonard widow of our classmate "Deac" passed away on March 8, 1961, at 140 Mt' Vernon St., Boston, Mass.
Word has just been received that Evelyn Amidon Knapp, 78, died Saturday, March 28, at the Norris Nursing Home, Boscawen N. H., after a long illness. She was the widow of our Merton C. Knapp who passed on last January. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Wesley Methodist Church, Concord, N. H.
In the March 23 issue of the "Coin World Magazine," a weekly newspaper of the entire numismatic field, published in Sidney, Ohio, there is a very interesting and instructive report about Confederate currency. Why not collect it? queries top authority Philip H. Chase of Wynnewood, Penna. Confederate currency collectors will be interested to learn of a new summary and cross index, a folder listing every type of Treasury note according to Phil who also authored the handsome "Confederate Treasury Notes" book. The photographs are excellent too!
Bill Smart tells me that he feels well enough to climb all the 94 steps to the top of the Tower at Hanover. O.K., let's do just that this June!
With reference to our informal reunion on June 12, 13, and 14, we plan to have a separate '07 Class Dinner on Monday night, and the joint dinner with '09 and the "Sing Along With Childs" orchestra on Tuesday night.
