Harry K. Rogers of Suncook, N.H., president of the Suncook Bank and prominent in state and local community activities, passed away on March 10, 1961, after an illness of over a year following an operation for removal of his gall bladder. More details will be found in the In Memoriam section of this or a later issue. He had been until his illness a regular attendant at the monthly meetings of the Merrimack Dartmouth Club and will be greatly missed by friends and fellow Dartmouth men in this area.

Phil Thompson had the misfortune of a serious fire in his home on Christmas Day.

Porter Lowe reports that he is not yet retired and is still connected with the McGaskey Industrial Controls, a division of the Victor Adding Machine Company. Next year he hopes to complete his 25th year with the company and that he and Hazel can enjoy their 25 th wedding anniversary.

George Squier reports that Jennie Hinman, Rosie's wife, suffered a heart attack while they were vacationing in Florida and they returned to their home instead of attending the Vero Beach reunion.

Edward and Eleanor Bartlett reported late in February that they had been visiting friends and relatives on the West coast and planned to take a jet to Hawaii for about three weeks.

Howard Cowee reported in March that he planned to do some island hopping in the Caribbean in April and would miss Vero Beach but planned to attend the June reunion in Hanover.

Christine Amidon reports that she and Luey expect to attend the June reunion. Luey is director of Admissions in the Hartford, Conn., Institute of Accounting and their address is 24 Gillett Street in Hartford.

Don Comstock reports that he retired at the end of last year and that he and Grace have moved to 1642 E. First Street in Tucson, Ariz., where they expect to make their permanent home.

Charlie Severance reports from Menlo Park, Calif., that he is completely retired and that his and Florence's greatest kick is watching their grandchildren grow up. He sees Web Evans about once a week and they usually have a golf game on one of those flat short courses designed for old men. How come?

Larry Symmes forwarded a letter from Henry Stone from Holmes Beach which is on Anna Maria Island, about seven miles from Bradenton, Fla. Besides Blanche and himself and Seymour Rutherford there is a Dartmouth delegation of Kidger '03; Hobbs '04; Roger Brown '05; and Bob Kenyon and Don Houghton of '07. On December 19, last, Henry received a fifty-year Masonic pin and medal from the Grand Lodge of Massachusetts at his Saggahew Lodge in Haverhill and his son Donald, past master of the lodge, made the oration.

Henry reports that Life Greeley is recuperating rapidly from a double operation for the removal of a "whopping" kidney stone and prostate trouble.

George Squier reports from Vero Beach the sudden death of Harold Day Brown of the class of '14 who had established a home there and was well known to members of our class who had attended the March reunions as he and his wife Martha each year had entertained the Dartmouth contingent at a cocktail party at their home.

As most of the class, knows George Squier has asked to be relieved of his duty as class notes editor and I am now officially the class notes editor as well as historian and I ask your help in making the column interesting by sending in news of your own activities and those of other classmates.
