Now that the Woild Serious is out of the way and before the snow flies too furiously, you are probably taking advantage of the nearby pigskin attractions to enjoy an afternoon outdoors and to meet fellow 50's before and after the games. Several pow-wows were scheduled for last month including the newly established annual fall fellowship in Hanover for the Dartmouth Night game. Yet to come are the Yale and Princeton weekend pre- and post-contest parking lot conclaves, and we expect some newsy tidbits will result from some of these. Twixt now and then, let's gander at. . . .
THE HITCHING POST
Miss Silvia Gratia Galanti of Teaneck, N. J., and Chatham, Mass., was married on July 21 to Dr. Phil Chapalis. She is an alumna of Wilson College in Chambersburg, Pa., and works for Donahue and Co. Phil graduated from Athens (Greece) Medical Faculty and is a resident in general surgery at Bellevue Hospital, New York.
RATTLE PRATTLE
A recent convention in the Windy City afforded the chance to catch up on several wandering financial tycoons' latest statistics. That was especially true of Ed Tuck who went with Hartford Life Insurance Co. last March. Since then he and Marlene have added a third daughter, Linda Ann, to their brood. That lone son will certainly have plenty of coaching on how to handle the fair sex before he's ready to put it to use!
Date of the Tuck tot's natal day is the same (June 14) as new flag-waver Gregory Emil, the first lad on the scene with Geneand Carol Ulrich. Greg weighed in at seven pounds, 12 ounces; but to date he hasn't volunteered to help Gene rake leaves or shovel snow. Tsk, Tsk!
INSURANCE ITEMS

Although Chuck missed the tenth, he'll repeat his reunion attendance in 1965. He and Sara tally three: Catherine who's coming up nine, Bill, seven, and Tom who will be five in December.
GOVERNMENT GUYS
Howie Weston was recalled to active duty in the Air Force a year ago. As chief pilot for the 133 ATS, MATS Transport Squadron at Grenier SFB, N. H., Howie sports the oak leaves signifying his majority. He's been flying to Europe a couple of times a month. . . . Capt. Dave Tillotson left Japan last spring and is now assistant prof of air science at Michigan College of Mining and Technology, Houghton, Mich. He and Delight have four children born around the world: David III, 8, Nashua, N. H.; Mark, 6, Lewiston, Me.; Laura, 4, Chicago, and Wendy, 2, Tokyo.

Cdr. Bob O'Neil, USN. has had a tour of duty at the Air Force's War College, Maxwell AFB, Ala. . . . Hank Meijer, military medic for the fly boys, wears a captain's railroad tracks (at least that's what we called two silver bars in the Navy) at the Weisbaden Hospital.

His function is to help develop publication and film programs for overseas publicity. . . . Harry Melone's new assignment with the State Department is in Bangui, French Equatorial Africa. . . . A few months ago we tried to jam too many of these items into a single issue, so here are a few ancient bits and two new ones. Bill H. Miller has been promoted (last March 30) to senior engineer in Germanium Products and Components Equipment Engineering at IBM's Poughkeepsie plant. He has product and manufacturing engineering responsibility for germanium mesa logic devices, mesa core drive transistors, and all support activities such as materials, plating, and header engineering. Anyone want to try that in English? Bill and Mrs. M. have four children. . . . Mac Taylor is PERT Unit Chief for Boeing in New Orleans.
A trio of our aerospace are spotted at three widely dispersed locations. Bob Hutchinson is an Air Force physicist at the Cambridge (Mass.) research labs and has been "firing rockets from such places as New Mexico, Florida and Canada." He also lectures in geophysics at the grad school of B. C. where he got a master's in 1959. Little ones for Bob and Elizabeth are Joan and Deborah, twelve and ten, and tads Robert O. and David, four and two. . . . At the other end of the continent, Chuck McCaleb is chief editor on the POLARIS Technical Manuals for Lockheed Missiles and Space Company in Sunnyvale, Calif. Alice and Chuck have a pair of grey-hair-growers in Don, nine, and Nancy, seven. Local injuns are mostly 51's such as Len Smith, Earl Brabb, and Ted Laskin. So far Chuck has been unable to convince the town fathers they need to change the name of his street which is (ugh) Princeton. . . . Getting that "other brand of sunshine is Gerry Breyton in Mary Esther, Fla. He's principal flight test engineer for Republic Aviation on the F-105 D, and wishes Big Greeners in the citrus area would identify themselves at 17 Azalea Drive.
Having gone verbose again, we'll have to close up shop hastily till next month. Meanwhile, Si Morand, recovering from hepatitis, will welcome your dues payments at an early date. See you after Thanksgiving Day.
