Cheeze guys, it looks like Sadie Hawkins Day is a year-round affair now, judging from the casualty reports I got this month. This volume of classmates "lost in action" wouldn't be so hard to take were it not for the fact that I received not a single interesting letter from some happy wanderer telling me about all the funsy things he and his stag friends are doing. Do not be ashamed to write your old dad and tell me about your activities. The letters and cards you men send to me provide the best and latest dope on the class. Special offer for this month: the student who sends in the letter with the most 61's names in it will be given a free trip to Carlisle, Pa., for their Flypaper Festival, and a guaranteed date with Miss Flypaper. Sounds good, huh Gemelli!

The former Miss Holly Rathje and George Whitehead were married on August 24 in Los Angeles. Holly and George both went to Nashua H.S. together and Holly is a senior at UCLA whilst George works for North American Aviation. Tom Hewitt and Miss Jeraldine Spurgeon tied the knot in Oak Park late last July. As you know Tom is hard-charging for the Semper Fi boys, and Jeraldine will probably get stuck with the chore of cooking up his "K" rations every night. The second Methodist Church in Kittery, Me., provided the setting for the wedding of Miss Diane Sterling and TomRussell last September. Diane and Tom are living in California while Tom attends Stanford Law. Our favorite shower-room screamer, Mike Jenkin, at last decided to give up a promising career in Grand Opera and devote himself to the finer things in life, starting with Miss Barbara Kraft. Mike and Barbara were married August 11 in Wilmington. The couple are living in Collingswood, N. J., while Mike plays Ben Casey at Jefferson Medical School. Some of the most notable marital broken-field running since Rubirosa has finally come to an end as Miss Judy Newton reeled in Bill Collishaw after a long and exciting joust. Colly claims that she never would have caught him if his shoes hadn't come untied, but Judy sagely pointed out that he wasn't wearing shoes. Judy and Bill are living in New Haven where Bill is at Yale Law. Even that paragon of distinguished bachelorhood, Gerald Hartley Dodge Webster, has been snatched up while he labored under impediments of cloudy vision and slowness-of-foot. "Harts" and Miss Karen Smith of Weston, Mass., were married on August 11. Hartley's twin brother, Jay, was his best man and Parker Albee and Bob Evans were ushers. Budge Graves married Miss Marcia Goodale on August 18 in Windsor, Conn. Mrs. Graves graduated from Colby and will be sweeping the family hearth in Hanover. Bill Edgar and Tom Conger played right and left wing for big Ice Man Jake Haertl as he pulled a ring-trick with former opponent, Miss Priscilla Rendell, on her home ice in Sudbury, Mass. (a wedding announcement as Sports Illustrated would do it). Ens. and Mrs. Haertl will be living in Norfolk where Jake is stationed aboard the "USS Little Rock." Roy Felsher and the former Miss Susan Stein were married on August 13 in New Jersey. Marv Witofsky was Roy's best man. The clipping didn't say where the Felshers are living, but I'm sure Roy will write and tell me (got that RLF?). Ken Kendall and Miss Patricia Cox were married on September 8 in Wilmington. Pete Sheldon and Pat Walsh were flower girls.

As you can see the Mate Rate is rising steadily. And more to come too! AbbotSchwebel is engaged to Miss Marilyn Schaefer; Curt Low and Miss Marcia Sherwood plan a military wedding; Frank Ginn and Miss Margaret Gomez have announced their engagement; and even old Andy Yogurt has run out of wind; Andy plans to make Miss Carolyn Powell Mrs. Urquhart this spring.

Compared to this bevy of nuptials, the Stag Bag is precious slim. Nonetheless: "Zipper" Zipes did Medical Research at Hanover all summer long and is now back at Harvard Med. Dick Tonneson is undergoing training at Fort Dix. Hank Eberhardt got his commission from OCS last July and is now enjoying his little gray home. Neal Musmanno is teaching at Brighton High School in Vermont and attending Yale too? I don't quite know how you can manage to do all that Mus, baby, but good work! Harry Kreamer is booking it up at Stanford Law and has been honored by a staff position on the Law Review published by the school. Mike Norman and Dan Jackson were both doing medical research at Dartmouth last summer. Dan is back at Cornell now, and Mike is finishing up at Dartmouth. Chip Serrell has become a whirleybird pilot through the Army, and will probably be «op dusting or spreading leaflets or something pretty soon, so keep your eyes skyward, all ye Serrell fans.

.Write me dope sheets now, hear. Have a nice Thanksgiving.
