A fine and welcome group of Christmas cards serves as a constant reminder of how widely scattered a Class can become.

Austin Callaway has been named manager of the newly created Selected Products Division of William Carter Co., manufacturers of knit underwear, sleepwear, and outerwear. This division will concentrate on merchandising of basic underwear categories in the infants', children's, and women's lines. Austin was formerly with Mercantile Stores, Inc. and later represented Washington Mills, N. C., and Russell Manufacturing Co., Alabama, operating out of Chicago.

Barry Marks, Assistant Professor of English at Brown University, was elected president of the New England Association for American Studies at the organization's annual meeting recently in Middletown, Conn. Barry has been a member of the Brown faculty since 1955. He received his Ph.D. from the university of Minnesota in 1957. Last year, he was assistant dean in charge of freshmen at Brown.

Joe Eisaman continues in the partnership of Eisaman, Johns, and Laws Advertising, Los Angeles. Joe opened this advertising agency in 1948 with Jess Johns. Their agency represents a number of organizations in the auto and allied lines. Joe is the author of a November article in "Broadcasting" describing how they were able to "bring back the show into the auto show."

A fine letter from Andy Scarlett '10 enclosed a clipping concerning Mrs. RoyChenderlin who scored a 68 to win the Rock Point, Fla., women's low net golf tournament. She was the winner by a wide margin.

Dr. George Cohn is now an assistant professor in the Yale department of medicine. George has been a research fellow in medicine at Yale for several years. His Christmas card includes beautiful pictures of the four young Cohns.
