Samuel C. Bartlett, Chairman of our 55th Reunion, reports that the tentative program for June 8, 9, 10 and 11 was mailed to all classmates and widows on March 28. Kindly see that your post card is filled out and mailed to him at 430 West 22nd Street, New York 11, N. Y., at the earliest possible date. We are depending on you all to make this 55th Reunion a tremendous success.

Dwight W. Hiestand writes that he left New Orleans, La., on January 7 for Merida, Yucatan via plane and made it in less than two hours. After ten weeks in Merida he has been proceeding along the coast of the Gulf of Mexico and is now spending a week in Vera Cruz before going north along the coast until he reaches New Orleans again, thus making a complete circle around the Gulf of Mexico. Dwight hopes to attend our 55th but is making "definite" plans to be at the 60th and 70th, because his aunt attended her 70th at Smith College. We hope that he makes Hanover in June of 1962 for sure.

"Pat" Hathaway's widow Irene writes on March 27 while en route from Piraeus, Greece to Naples, Italy on the M/S Bergensfjord of the Norwegian American Line, that this ship has been her home since the middle of January, with fascinating shore trips in Japan and Hong Kong, by air to Bangkok, a six-day trip by plane in India (high spots), and that she is now homeward bound. Irene, your Dartmouth friends welcome you back to America and Hanover in lune.

"Tute" Worthen and Mary have returned home to Hartford, Conn., after enjoying a month in Florida at Key Largo and Ponte Vedra Beach. Edward Ashley is enjoying good health and can't wait for June to come so that he can meet his classmates. Julian C. Harris of Forth Worth, Tex., who hasn't attended a reunion for many years but visits New England nearly every summer, has noticed many changes in Hanover.

In a very cordial letter Mrs. Herbert D.Hinman (Marion) of Hampton, Va., tells of her very interesting visits with daughters Harriet Euback at Princeton, N. J., Elizabeth Stocker of Norfolk, Va., and Marion Gracey of Yaldosta, Ga. "Herb" was a loyal Dartmouth man and attended reunions regularly; we look forward to seeing you, Marion.

Bill Ahern was confined to the Concord Hospital for five weeks during February and March. Bleeding stomach ulcer and diabetes was the diagnosis. Harriet says that he is back home feeling much better and that everything is under control. Bill is looking forward to our 55th Reunion. Harry Pelren was in the hospital at the same time and had his nurse wheel him over to see Bill Ahern several times. Isn't that real service?

The 1962 Alumni Fund campaign is under way with Bob Kenyon our class agent. The success of the fund drive means much to Dartmouth, so let's each one of us take part in it according to our circumstances and if we do that the 1907 quota will be made as always. After April 10 Bob and Lura's address will be Route 3 (Bow), Concord, N. H.

The following 1907 classmates will be a year older in the month of May: Ashley, Chase, Cochrane, Davis, Frost, Hiestand, Holman, Plummer, Witham, and Wood. We wish you all a happy, healthy birthday!

It's wonderful to receive your letters, so kindly keep them coming my way. I hope to see you all in lune at "Dear Old Dartmouth."
