FEBRUARY 1963 BREWSTER STURTEVANT '52

We couldn't have asked for any more help from the team than we received in setting a perfect stage for our Football Smoker held Thursday evening, December 27. All kinds of honors, of course, have been bestowed on Dartmouth's 1962 Ivy League Champions both individually and teamwise.

Coach Jack Musick was with us and he did an excellent job in enlightening us on our very successful season and commenting and answering questions before and after the Football Highlight film. Close to eighty alumni, undergraduates, and prospective Dartmouth students were able to recapture some of the glory and relive this past football season. Jim Chandler '38 of Longmeadow did a great job of getting this meeting planned.

The Dartmouth football squad is well represented by several boys from this area. We had with us that night Tom Parkinson '64 from Amherst and Al Stewart '65 from Longmeadow. We are sure we are going to hear a lot more from these two next fall as well as some other boys from this area.

Everyone is now beginning to look ahead to the Glee Club's appearance down here on February 24. It looks as though we will have a full house and more for this Sunday afternoon concert.
