The duckboard season must be well underway in Hanover and, personally, we wish we had several of them for our own driveway. News this month is even worse than last month but maybe we can use our imagination a little bit over some of the changes of address cards that have come in.

Don Armitstead who has his Master's degree in Civil Engineering and who, if we remember correctly, originally lived in the east, now lives at 2559 26th Avenue West, Seattle 99, Wash. Naturally, this will be embarrassing if Don just moved next door, but it would be interesting to know - being a civil engineer - what prompted him to move to that magnificent state of Washington - not by a dam site, we hope.

E. Quillian Brazel has just moved to 913 West 232 nd Street, Torrance, Calif., and I do know for a fact that he has been on the west coast for quite some time. Outside of mentioning Quillie's new home address, our main purpose is to let all his old friends know finally that the E. stands for Ernest; and all these years we thought it stood for something more exotic and complicated than Quillian.

The Reverend Charles J. Quinn is now to be found at the Catholic Mission, Model Town, Rahimyar Khan, West Pakistan. Naturally, we would love to hear from Father Quinn not only on his activities in West Pakistan but our journalistic sense smells some kind of story in the address "Model Town." Under the presumption that his magazine should arrive in Pakistan sometime in July, we certainly hope to hear from the good Father in time to make our October issue.

Paul Twohey, presently teaching the sixth grade at Riverbend School, Athol, Mass., is running for Selectman in the township of Phillipston, Mass. Paul did his graduate work at Clark University in Worcester, Mass. Because Paul and his wife have four children, we know why he is active in Cub Scout work and was one of the founders of the Little League. He is also a registrar of voters and a captain in the Marine Corps Reserves. It sounds like he has a fight on his hands since he is opposing a former selectman and presumably, the incumbent. We hope Paul will let us know who won.

Victor Brum, now chief biochemist at the Veterans Administration Hospital at Togus, Me., is going for his Ph.D. in animal nutrition at the University of Maine in Orono. Vic, who lives in Augusta, is doing a biochemical study of the utilization of carbohydrates. He earned his Master's degree from George Washington University before going back to Maine.

Our head class agent, Townes Harris, now has our alumni fund so well organized that all of you should have received the first material by now to let you know it is that time of year. For those of you who have been in Hanover recently there is no need to tell you of the wonderful things which the capital gifts and past alumni funds have accomplished in making Dartmouth one of the leading colleges in the world. To those of you who have not been back, the necessity for your help now, as, in the past, is vital if Dartmouth is to continue to grow stronger and continue to turn out the extremely welleducated graduates whom we will come to depend upon more and more in the future. Don't wait for a call from your class agent, send in your contribution now, care of the Dartmouth Alumni Fund, Hanover, N. H.

The '47 Executive Committee is meeting this month but just a trifle late to get news of the meeting into these notes. We will have the doings written up for the May issue.
