Two major programs occupied the club throughout the winter months. The first was our annual dinner-election meeting. The usual format of a main speaker was dispensed with this year in favor of the film of the 1962 Football Season which Dartmouth Films was able to lend us for the occasion. Our fears that such a program would help keep the wives away were unfounded; in fact, several couples came with their sons and daughters to see the show. Charlie Schlenker '41, our dinner chairman, managed a wonderful evening from cocktails to aperitif. The nominating committee, which consisted of J. William Morgan '29, George Baine '41, and Oliver Conover '53, presented the following slate of officers which was elected, installed, and operating with an almost alarming speed: President: George Emery '28; Vice President, Joseph Millar'23; Secretary, William K. Madden '54; Treasurer, Philip Tusting '18.

The Executive Committee now includes the following men: George Baine '41, M. Edward Boyer '53, Richard Bugbee '57, James Cobb '53, James Coleman Jr. '46, George Drawbaugh '59, Thomas Jardine '41, Robert Norton '33, Charles Schlenker '41, William L. Russell Jr. '35, Daniel Winters '43, William Morgan '29, David Russell '33, Harry Douty '4l, Oliver Conover '53, Henry Stevenson '24, and Edgar Blake '25.

Our second event was the Dartmouth Band Concert given at the Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School during the spring vacation. Although sponsored by the High School, our club was asked to assist in entertaining and boarding the band members. George Drawbaugh '59 took this project as his own, and things went like clockwork. Not a band member was lost or neglected during the visit.

Our spring program includes our annual cocktail party in May or June and supporting Dartmouth teams which have events in our area. With club membership increasing monthly, our events should be better than ever.
