Elliott Skip Sisson is working for Bulkley Dunton & Co. at 295 Madison Ave., N. Y. A few weeks ago Skip and Marguerite Humphrey Jamison announced their plans to be married. Marguerite is from Greensburg, Pa. She graduated from Miss Porter's School in Farmington, Conn., and Wheaton College. Phil Haslam was married June 20 to Suzanne Veronica Smith of New York City. Suzanne has been working for 8.8.D.&0. in New York. Phil is with J.P. Stevens & Co. After their wedding trip to Cape Cod, Phil and Suzanne settled at 55 Greenwich Ave., N. Y. John Nordling was married on July 11. John's wife, Susan Ames, is from Rye, N. Y. Susan went to Rye Country Day School and Smith College. John received a degree from Columbia after Dartmouth and is in secondary education administration. John and Sue are living at 46 West 65th St. in New York.

Stu Warren completed his medical training at George Washington University and is a Navy doctor assigned to the U.S. Naval Hospital at Balboa Park in San Diego. On July 18 Stu's engagement to Jane Morgan Clark was announced. Jane is from Philadelphia. She went to school at Chatham Hall and Simmons College. A long time has passed since we heard from Al Maca. Al is engaged to Gail Genevieve Healy of Hinsdale, Ill. Gail graduated from Nazareth Academy and from Marymount College in Tarrytown, N. Y., and spent her junior year at the University of London.

Tom Kidd has been active in Wyoming politics. Tom is currently seeking reelection to the Wyoming house of representatives from Natrona County. He now serves on the house judiciary committee and the oil and gas, mines and mining committee of the legislature. The July 8 Casper "Star" carried a list of Tom's achievements too long to quote here in full. Tom left Dartmouth and graduated from the University of Wyoming and the U. of W. Law School. He entered private practice in 1960 and the following year became a municipal judge, where he began taking a particular interest in the juvenile work of the court and helped set up a work program for young offenders. Tom and Sally have two sons, Lynden and David, and are living at 2933 Belmont Road in Casper.

Russ Mead's two novels for teen-agers, one published in March called "If a Heart Rings—-Answer," won him a fellowship to the 39th annual Bread Loaf writers' conference this summer at Middlebury. Jack Frable is a fellow in pathology at Memorial Hospital for Cancer and Allied Diseases in New York. Jack married Mary Ann Smith in September, 1956. Ann is beginning this fall as instructor in surgery at Cornell Medical School. They have a daughter Deborah Emily and are living at Winston House, Ist Avenue at East 67th Street. Pete Hovel! is with a manufacturing firm in Denver. Pete's address is 1200 Vine, Apt. 108, Denver. I received a great letter from Bob Montgomery the other day. Bob and Marty now have two children, Mark and Beth, and are living at 355 South Olive Way in Denver. Bob's law office is located at 2300 Western Federal Savings Building.

Tom Reynolds has been appointed to the Indiana University School of Law as assistant professor. Tom received his LL.B. from the University of Pittsburgh and LL.M. from Columbia. He had a private law practice in New York City and served as an assistant district attorney there. Tom and his wife will be moving from New York to Indianapolis. Dick and Jacqueline Hlavac and daughter Catherine moved on June 20 to Dunedin, New Zealand, where Dick has taken a position as university librarian.

Between class meetings and reunions RussBrace has been making a home at Spruce Street in Rockport, Me., for his wife Jean and their daughter Karen, one year old. A few weeks ago Russ was named to the advisory board of the Depositors Trust Co. Russ's main occupation is editor of the Maine Coast Fisherman and National Fisherman publication. He also serves on the board of the Camden-Rockport Chamber of Commerce, is a trustee of the Knox County General Hospital, serves on the state's Sea and Shore Fisheries Advisory Council and is secretary of the Maine Marine Trades Association. Dave Channen has been appointed customer service supervisor for Sigma Instruments, Inc., of Braintree, Mass., having previously served as a buyer in the purchasing department. Dave and Sandra and son Steve are living in Holbrook.

Fire off a congratulatory volley for FredFranz who has been appointed vice president in charge of sales at Harrington & Richardson, Inc., a Worcester, Mass., manufacturer of revolvers, rifles, and shotguns since 1871. Gun-totin' Fred studied marketing at N.Y.U. and Western University graduate schools of business and prior to his affiliation with Harrington & Richardson he was employed by U.S. Steel Corp. in the sales and market research departments.

Dick and Rosamond Thorp and their two children have returned to Hanover, where Dick is one of 22 doctors selected to enter the residency program at Mary Hitchcock Hospital. Dick is specializing in neurosurgery. He has just completed three years of service as a lieutenant in the Navy. HankPratt, who has been teaching at Wellesley College, has accepted an offer to be an assistant professor of political science at Emory University in Atlanta, Ga. Hank and Annis have a daughter Lori two years old; they will be living at 439 Chelsea Circle in Atlanta. Bob Barry has been promoted to Class Six in the U.S. Foreign Service. Bob and Margaret and son John are living in Zagreb, Yugoslavia, where Bob is vice consul. Harry Bieling has been transferred from Hamburg, Germany, to London and promoted to second secretary of the embassy. Harry's address is 5 Coulson St., London, SW 3. Jake Jacobsen, author of two books of poetry and various poems and short stories for magazines, has accepted a position in the English department of Goddard College; Jake and Martha will be moving from Bedford, Mass., to Plainfield, Vt.

Bob Dumont is busy putting together final plans for Class of '56 reunions as follows: in Hanover, October 10; Cambridge, Oct. 24; and New Haven, Oct. 31. Details will be in the next class newsletter, coming soon.
