First and most important — a very sincere "thank you and well done" from MikeHecht, Head Class Agent, and from all the Class Agents for your outstanding participation in last spring's Fund Drive.

Looks like Coach Blackman and this year's team are going to stamp the ... ahh ... umm ... fluids out of a goodly number of opponents this season. Just for sport why don't all us loyal '61's who are going to catch a few games this fall try to converge all at once. How's about everybody trying to make the Yale game on October 31 at New Haven or the Penn game November 21 at Philadelphia. If you send to the D.C.A.C. they'll give you tickets in the '61 Class Section for those games. Everybody can bring their own raccoon coats (with the plastic tube running down the sleeve and into your jug of corn), their pennants (with a concealed stiletto for self defense if seated in opponents' grandstand), and your '61 beanies with the propeller on top (for fast getaway through the post-game crowds). Also wives may be brought for those rooters who have wives with raccoon coats (with plastic tube, etc.).

This all leads nicely into the latest report from the Marriage Mart. Dick Noel and Miss Christine Sube were wed last April 4 in North Adams, Mass. Among those present at Dick's wedding were Tom McDonough who's working for Club Insurance in NYC, Pete Palin who's watching other people's money in the banks in and around New York, and Jack Penn who spends his working hours at Arthur Andersen, Public Accountants. Dick and his bride are presumably living in the Berkshires someplace since he is working in the Trust Department of the First Agricultural National Bank of Berkshire County.

Miss Geraldine Kazel and Dave Wainio were married last August. Dave and wife are living the teacher's life in Somerville, N. J. Dave Lazar and Susanne Schultz tied the knot in June and are presently figuring out things for Dave to do with the MBA he received from Harvard. By now DaveMilne and Miss Darrelyn Semon are all married up after an August wedding. Here's a romantic one - Charlie Boynton and Miss Elizabeth Vail were married in Cannes, France, on June 17. Dunno how Charlie pulled that one off, but I've gotta hand it to him — if he can settle down with one young lady amidst all the lovelies in Cannes, she must be outstanding and he must be a man of iron will. A young naval officer just went down for the third time. Lt.(j.g.) Ivar Jozus and Miss Carol Kerruish marched down the aisle in August. They will live in Mayport while Ivar tries to get the ship's bachelors to take his duty days. New lawyer BillKupinse and Miss Patricia McGrew are now happily married and living in Huntington, Conn. The former Miss Louise Havens is now Mrs. William LeVeen after a July wedding in Garden City, L. I. West Mystic, Conn., recently acquired newlyweds HenryRobbins and the former Miss Carol Saia. Hank is working for Electric Boat in Groton.

Got a few "Soon to Be's" also. F'instance Dave Heistercamp, M.D., and Miss Roberta Fletcher; Larry Levy and Miss Stephanie Rosenberg (planning an October wedding I hear); Del Lucas and Elaine Van Emburgh; and Bob Johnson and Miss Nancy Bullens.

I've received a lot of letters from the more literate' among you and will probably not be able to get to them all this month, but I never lose a letter!! Especially one with such great news as this one ... here ... someplace ... justaminute ... maybe under the couch ... nooo ... well I'll find it and tell you all the great news it has in it (I think). News Flash - Bill Shure is a fullfledged lawyer in New Haven. Another lawyer, Jerry Hallisey did a great job getting his LL.D. but wasn't sharp enough on his torts to escape that old counsellor, Uncle Sam. Jerry is in Fort Benning (and you know what that means!). John Wilhelm got his MBA from Western Reserve in June.

Jeff and Lonnie Conn have a new daughter, Amy, who is their pride and joy. Jeff is evidently working in N. Y. since his return address says "Flushing" — or maybe that's just another of his witty comments - hard to say. The scourge of South Fayerweather, Gary Lytle is an Assistant District Forest Ranger in Houston, Mo. He and wife Mary, and daughter Christine are happily en- sconced in whatever forest rangers live in. (You don't have to stay in one of those funny little houses alia time do you, Gary?) Late news flashes: Gary Manchester and Miss Susan Simon wed. Big banker BillMazeine marries Miss Marcia Dillon; Doug Zipes is interning at Duke Hospital, Durham, N. C.; Norm Klath and Miss Nancy Stark wed in Ohio - moving to NYC where Norm works with Morgan Guaranty Trust; Charlie Buffon and Miss Kathleen Vreeland decide to face life together - in Washington, D. C.; Tony Wattleworth a June M.D. from Harvard and Miss Shirley Bingham wed and settled near University Hospital, Cleveland; and finally your faithful wandering scribe is now in Cheshire, Conn., getting a little sales training before returning to big soap in Cincinnati. Since Cheshire is just outside of New Haven where all you guys will be going for the football game (see Education, paragraph 1) and to taunt town- ies, and since I always have lots and lots of Pepsi on hand (sometimes even some HI-HO crackers), gimme a call or a post card or an inscribed watermelon or something and we can exchange plastic tubes (see Medicine, paragraph 1A).
