After a fairly slow period, the Dartmouth Club of Venezuela is picking up steam. There are 18 alumni in the country that we know about. Fourteen of these are in the capital city of Caracas.

On June 24, Dartmouth alumni living in the area held a meeting at the home of Fred Eaton '40 at which time new officers were elected. Professor Wayne Broehl of Tuck School gave an excellent informal talk bringing everyone up to date on the happenings in Hanover. Wielding the gavel for the coming year will be William Coles '29 in the role of president with Robert Bottome '30 acting as vice president and Fred Eaton '40 serving as secretary-treasurer.

Professor Broehl was in Caracas for ten days collecting information for a book he is writing. From Venezuela, he went to the University of Buenos Aires to attend a conference on "Business In Society."
