Congratulations, Jim Landauer, on your election for a second term as president of the New York Real Estate Board. According to one of Boston's top bankers, this is a singular honor.

From Beverly Hills, comes the announcement of Sidney W. Stevens, that he is opening new offices under the firm name of Stevens Realty Company, 8730 Wilshire Boulevard. The governor of Rotary District 789 has appointed Wilson "Bill" Blake as his aide. Bill is very active in his business, the Wilson C. Blake Company of Hartford.

Cap Palmer was recently elected a member of the Board of Directors of the Hollywood Museum and its executive committee. This museum is an international center for the Audio Visual Arts in Los Angeles, created by the Board of Supervisors of Los Angeles County to foster the motion picture, television, radio, and recording arts, sciences, and industries.

Go and Liberty Bliss are great wanderers. Last winter, it was southeast Asia. On August 20, they located Art and Adah Event's cabin, Trails End, in Indian River, Afton, Mich. Go would like to have his address in the 1923 Directory corrected. The correct address is P.O. Box 748, Cocoa, Fla. Please note this correction in your directory. It was the first meeting of the Everits and Blisses in forty years, and it took a full week to catch up with remembrances of Crosby Hall, and what has happened since.

Karl writes that he and Lee had a wonderful visit of sailing and reminiscing on Gardner and Jean Aiken's sailboat, the Mary Alice. Under the able navigation of Gardner, they sailed out of South Dartmouth, Mass., harbor, and met the one hundred, or more, sail and power boats of the New York Yacht Club on its annual cruise. An extra Aiken dividend was a view of the 12-meter yachts trying out for the American Cup Races in September, including the new American Eagle, the Constellation, and the two British yachts.

Bob Whittinghill is well established in Center Conway, N. H., and is busy supplying accounting service to the surrounding towns. To reach Bob's new home, take route #113 north of Conway, go left on route #302, leave this route at first right - about ¼ mile. Bob and Dot live in the second house on left, or north side of the road. Name is on the mail box. The Whittinghills had a house full of grandchildren in August!

A recent letter from Ed Lyle contained the following about Loosh Ruder - "Recently, in New York City, I spied LooshRuder in the lobby of the Hotel Commodore, where he was waiting for Kip Couch to join him for luncheon. Loosh was up from his home in Clearwater, Fla. He told me that each month he flies to his home town, Hamilton, Ohio, for four or five days of business conferences. In Clearwater, Loosh has been civic minded and, among other things, he is a founder of the Y.M.C.A. there - (his father was a founder of the Y.M.C.A. in Hamilton, Ohio). Loosh and Louise have two children. Their son, Ernest, is a physician. Seven years ago, he and three other doctors started a clinic six miles outside of Atlanta, Ga., and success has rewarded their efforts. Ernest has two children. With Atlanta only a short distance away, Loosh and Louise have the pleasure of seeing them frequently. Their daughter, Lucia, is also married, and lives right in Clearwater with her husband and two children. So Loosh and Louise are most fortunate. Over the years, Loosh has only added about ten pounds. You would agree that he does not look very different from the able leader of the Dartmouth orchestra during the senior year."

Ellie Baldwin — in Peru, Vt., undertook to contact some of the "Women of 1923" for the Alumni Fund, and did a wonderful job, for we had more contributions from the distaff side than ever before. Ellie lives with her mother at "Left Field" just east of Big Bromley, and would be delighted to see members of the class.

Ken Hurd — is practicing dentistry in Cleveland, where he continued his education — after Dartmouth — at Western Reserve University. He is active in the Dental School drive for building funds, and is a member of the Culver Club, the Masonic Club, and the Hermit Club. He is an Elder of the Church of the Covenant.

George Billings — on January 13, 1964, George was crossing a street when he was hit by a tow truck, whose vision was blocked by a privately owned snow blower. He suffered a broken arm, three broken ribs, and his left leg was paralyzed for about ten days. He got out of the casts on May 29, and spent some time in a nursing home. This is late, but we just heard about it. Hope he has recovered by now.
