I am sure all of you will be glad to know that Steve "Pitts" Willard has been found I am sure, again, .that all you goodly souls shared my concern for the poor lad who dropped out of sight 27 seconds after receiving his diploma. Well, it seems that Stevo is working for a market research firm in San Fran and, evidently, has been spending his time in the insurance business from 1961 to date. Steve's firm specializes in research on "distilled spirits" which sorta explains why 01' Pitts left the insurance game. Two advertising moguls, Tony Oestreicher and Georgette Georgiades, both employed by McCann Erickson in New York decided to merge. This happened way back in November, so yours truly is a tad behind the times, but I'm sure Tony and bride don't mind as they sit around the fire in their little cottage in New Rochelle and dream up great new cigarette campaigns. Dave Church and Miss Diane Burnham were married last fall in Seattle. Bob Rundel was on hand as best man. Dave is doing postgraduate work in physics at the U of Washington. A June wedding is planned for Norm Klath and Miss Nancy Stark of Shaker Heights. Norm will receive his M.B.A. from Harvard in June. Hal Levenson is breaking into the big time in TV with ABC. Hal says he is doing everything from street reporting to producing at the New York home office. LarryGeorge, a first lieutenant in the Army has been assigned to the Army Biological Laboratory at Fort Detrick, Md. What the heck do they do at a biological lab, look for army ants?

Jet pilot, Dick Beattie, decided to marry that cute little girl that he has been dating since freshman year (at least). Dick and Miss Diana Virginia Lewis of Rye, N. Y., were wed in December. A stellar cast of '61's were in residence to help Dick drown his sorrow at losing his bachelor status (ha!). Charlie Chapman was best man, and ChuckDayton, Terry 0'Neil, Don O'Neill and RedFacher backed Charlie as he backed Dick. Miss Judy Hobbs and George Jackson are planning to trip up to the altar in July. George is a third year law student at Penn. Yet another engagement looms - Paul Kaplan and Miss Amy Slotnik are making plans - but I don't know for when since the clipping got clipped off just when it was getting to the details.

And now for the letters, and I'd like to thank those of you who responded to my impassioned plea and grabbed the old quill and filled my ears with gossip. I hope others (hint!) will follow your lead. This month's honor roll lists Bob Naegle, Chuck Dayton,Gim Burton, and Mrs. Duncan Alexander (dunno what happened to Dune, but his wife certainly writes a good letter). Don't you want to get on the exclusive honor roll?? Don't you want to have a chance at winning the solid plastic replica of Sampson Occum awarded to the best letter of the year?? I will even accept postage due (up to 7¢). Now then to the mail. Bob and Bulb Naegle are having heaps of fun in Grosse Pointe, Mich selling outdoor advertising, watching television and taking care of daughters Jennifer and Jill. It is reported that young Jack Houser is still alive and all that somewhere in Michigan. Chuck Dayton told the tale (noted above) of Dick Beattie's wedding and mucho else. Bud Schoening and Jane are the proud parents of Mark Shaver, and are presumably still toying in real estate in Minneapolis. Jack Hansen is selling commercial time for a Minneapolis TV station and keeping an eye on his wife, Judy. Ai Orschel is president of his class at the University of Chicago Law School, Bennett Tarshish is there also learning to fool the judge. Three of our group are classmates of Chucks at Michigan Law, Bill Hutton, Pete Sheldon and Hank Ingram. Chuck himself will be moving to Minneapolis this spring to start work with a law firm.

As reported by the lovely and charming Mrs. Alexander, Dune has escaped from the Army and is now working for U.S. Steel in Pittsburgh. The Alexanders have two anklebiters, Mary and Anne, and are generally having a fine old time.

R. Grimley Burtoons (nom de plume of Gun Burton) sent an outstanding fact sheet on his activities which are too numerous and too humorous to outline completely in this stuffy old column, suffice to say that Gim lacks not for entertainment as he attends BU grad school by day and manages and entertains in the Red Garter in Cape Cod by night. Among those who have been subjected to Gim's banjo music of late are Oscar and Mrs. Arslanian, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Cantley, Bruce Callahan, Ray Welch, and Willy Cooper. The word is that Bill Bull got hitched last January in California (another one shot down in flames — sigh!).

And that is the story for yet another month. Grab your pens and get gossiping and you shall all be justly rewarded.
