Through the winter rains the few and sometimes many wend their way to the weekly Wednesday meetings at the Iron Horse on Maiden Lane. Not all of the luncheon meetings offer such feature attractions as the one in late October when DickEberhart '26, Dartmouth's Poet-in-Residence, and Dean Waldo Chamberlain visited us, but those that make "the scene" regularly were able to visit with Dick .Treadway'36 from Boston, Walt Darby '39 from New York, and Herb West '22 who was hurrying to get back to Hanover where he says he now sells pencils on the Inn corner.

With an abundance of snow in our mountains Carl Ward '32 has been busy taking reservations for the Dartmouth Outing Club cabin atop Donner Summit from the activists in the group.

For the more passive members a dinner meeting was held on Jan. 29 at which the '64 football season was viewed on film by 47. The next dinner meeting scheduled is on April 9 at the Hilton where President Dickey will report on the affairs of Hanover. In expectation of the announcement that Dartmouth will turn co-ed this dinner meeting will include the wives.

The following prizes are awarded to members of our group: The most widely seen member, Bill Clark '42, whose photograph has been printed periodically in advertisements in the Wall Street Journal and several weekly magazines. For the most widely traveled within the confines of the country in the course of a month, DaveSmith '35 who flew from here to Hawaii to Hanover during January. Most widely traveled abroad, Jack Garfein '21 and his wife recently back from a six-month trip covering New England, Europe, and the South. Best reason for traveling abroad, Dick Gale '60 who flew to Italy to get married in January. Least traveled of late Pete Zischke '52, he is recovering from a broken heel, the result of a tennis game.
