We purposely omitted an article from the Dartmouth Club of Philadelphia from last month's ALUMNI MAGAZINE because we knew that November 20, 1965 would be not only the biggest day for the Dartmouth Club of Philadelphia, but for Dartmouth men everywhere. Saturday morning dawned bright and clear in the Philadelphia area (a great surprise for any Dartmouth-Princeton game). The officers and executive committee were somewhat pensive concerning our Pre-Princeton Party, but we shouldn't have been. Over 1500 adults and children came and went between 11:30 and game time, and a superb time was had by all. A Wah-Hoo-Wah to Burt Proom '49 and Tom Malcolm'54 for their organization and administration of this affair. The band and the cheerleaders were also present to help stimulate all for the festivities that would follow in Palmer Stadium. Any who are reading this article and who attended the game but missed our party, please come back in 1967 as we intend to make this a permanent affair. Our Scholarship Fund was augmented to a great degree by the proceeds of this party but if any desire to make any additional contributions to the Scholarship Fund, they are always welcome.
