The Class of 1907 came through again! The final figure for 1966 Alumni Fund was $9,581.46. The dollar objective was $6550. There were 141 contributors, and our combined rating was 405.9%. Bob Kenyon, our hard-working class agent, is on top, and we thank Bob and all those who assisted him, including the widows, sons and daughters of deceased classmates as well as brothers and sisters.

We enjoyed our 59th informal reunion in June, and were assigned to Middle Fayerweather. Those present were Allan Brown, Hermon H. Hill, Robert and Lura Kenyon, George and Fern Liscomb, and George and Ethel Grebenstein. A photograph of the group was taken at that section of the Hanover Inn which is now being torn down to make room for the new hotel and underground garage.

Dwight W. Heistand was unfortunate to have had a stroke while on vacation at Kingston, Jamaica, West Indies last May. He was planning to be in Hanover at reunion. We hope that you are in good health now, Dwight.

Edith Sanborn, widow of our Bill Sanborn, has been in Tampa and Mease Hospital for 27 days as the result of an automobile accident in May on Franklund Bridge between Tampa and St. Petersburg. She is convalescing from severe right leg injuries now in her apartment, 330 Mease Manor, Dunedin, Fla. 33528.

Herbert and Gertrude Mitchell of La Grange, Ill., during the summer spent seven weeks visiting Norway and the other Scandinavian countries. They had a wonderful trip.

Harley Mann's wife, Mattie, of Slab City, N. H., in July fell and injured her back. She returned home from the hospital after a week for Harley to care for her. Result, Mattie has gained strength much faster.

Edward H. Temple has retired from the construction business and is enjoying life at his residence on Lewis Street, Marion, Mass., with his wife Nellie. Ed's son, Edward H. Temple III was in the class of 1937 at Dartmouth and his grandson Edward H. Temple IV received his degree from Dartmouth in June of '66. Congratulations!

Bob and Lura Kenyon were delighted to have Edward Ashley and his son Gardner '40 and daughter call on them at Bow, N. H., this summer. They had attended summer classes at Middlebury.

Leon Holman and Ida are living at 1154 Beacon Street, Brookline, Mass., and would like to see some Dartmouth friends when in their vicinity.

Harold L. (Bishop) Niles' wife Luna died on May 11. She was born in Hillsdale, Mich., and was graduated from Wellesley College in 1905. Luna was chairman of the Wellesley Alumni Fund and former college publicity director. A memorial service was conducted the following Sunday at the Unitarian Church, Wellesley Hills, and Allan, Roger and Jane Brown, Bob and Lura Kenyon, George and Ethel Grebenstein and many other Dartmouth alumni attended. We all extend our sincerest sympathy to Bishop and family.

Don Williams passed away on Saturday, August 20 after a long illness in the Elliot Community Hospital in Keene which is a real blow to us all.

George Liscomb's new address is New London, N. H. 03257.

Your secretary and his wife spent ten days in August with Allan Brown, Locust Farm, Taunton Hill Road, East Andover, N. H. We occupied one of his log cabins on Highland Lake. A good time was had by all.

James O'Neill, your class president, has appointed the following classmates for the 60th reunion committee for June 1967: Grebenstein, chairman, Bob Kenyon, Robert Lane, Bishop Niles, and Wilfred Smart. If you have suggestions please let your committee hear from you at an early date. If you are planning to be with us next June, please drop your secretary a line. So long for now.
