On the evening of May 25 Joan and Mefford Runyon '47 graciously opened their Fairfield home to host the Dartmouth Club of Bridgeport. This year the ever popular casserole supper was combined with the annual meeting and drew a number of new faces as well as the old faithful. Joan Wheeler, wife of club president, John H.Wheeler '49, was in charge of the supper. The two Joans received many plaudits for their efforts.
Seaver Peters '54, associate Director of Athletics, spoke to the group and showed the "1965 Football Highlights" film.
Meff Runyon was chairman of the nominating committee and the following slate of officers for the '66-67 season was duly elected: President, John H. Wheeler '49; vice-president, James J. Gentile '54; treasurer, Robert J. Clark '22; secretary, RichardH. Mac Donald '44; interviewing chairman, James W. Venman '55,' assisted by RobertD. Shannon '51; enrollment chairman, JamesP. Biggs '62, and C. William Hagelin '46N, assistant. Elected to the executive committee were: Walter H. Augustyn Jr. '59, Dr. Milton Cooper '46, John W. Handy Jr. '44, Robert G. Lee '45, Stanley J. Lonsdale '24, Robert W. Naramore '35, Wendell G. Reycroft '17, H. Mefford Runyon '47 and Theodore W. Atkinson, Dartmouth father.
