There is not too much to write you right now. I sort of overdid it in the October issue. Probably you have nearly all heard of the pet boa constrictor apparently living in the walls of a fraternity house. It is an experience we did not have in our time.

Several good letters from Ned Kenerson: Ned has a large, devoted, loyal and somewhat scattered group of descendants and I know that with me you all envy him and them in their many get-togethers.

From the college clipping service a belated drama review from the "Miami Herald" of a production of "Fit For Treason," a play by our able author, Gink Ford. The play has to do with the assassination of Abraham Lincoln. The critic writes in part that George Ford's account of the happenings before and after the tragedy at the Ford Theatre seems to concern no old history lesson but rather projects, with an impact that is immediate, a presentation as suspenseful as any subject of current events could be. The critic adds that the greatest credit of all should go to Ford for his "hound's tooth clean telling of his tale."

I have not yet heard of our progress with the 1966 class dues collections. I am sure you will each want to share by your dues payment in making possible our MAGAZINE subscriptions for our loyal widows. They surely deserve receiving this monthly report of the college, its activities, and programs which they are helping to make possible by their Alumni Fund help.
