Oscar P. Tabor '98 was the guest of honor at the regular monthly meeting of the Merrimack County Club held at the Highway Hotel in Concord on November 2. Mr. Tabor, the oldest member not only of the Club but of the county, was celebrating his 90th birthday. A gift and birthday cake were presented to him by Paul Richter '20, Club president.
After receiving his degree from Thayer School in 1899 Mr. Tabor entered the construction business in Worcester, Mass., where he was active for over fifty years. Since 1950 he has resided with the family of his niece, Mrs. Dorothy Sanborn, on their farm in Boscawen. Many hobbies, helping with farm chores, and daily rides on his bicycle have made him a familiar figure in that town.
The annual dinner of the Association will be held on Tuesday, December 27. All Dartmouth men will be welcome.
