New Canaan

Coach Jack Musick's presence on January 19, 1966 highlighted the start of the New Canaan Club's sixth year. Forty-five men from the towns of New Canaan, Wilton, Ridgefield, and Pound Ridge met at the New Canaan Country Club for cocktails, dinner to hear Coach Musick and to relive the 9-0 football season.

President Stu Kay '50 paid tribute to HarryGilmore '01, Ned Redman '06, and MarkeyPullen '22 for founding the New Canaan Club six years ago. Next Jack Gunther '29 was introduced and he spoke on the re-organization of the Fairfield County Alumni Association and how it placed the New Canaan Club in the spotlight.

Various coming events were announced; among them: a cocktail party in May and a pre-season football dinner in September.

Coach Musick related some of the unrecorded events of the past football season before showing the 1965 football film.
