Thad Seymour received a "whale" of a reception on his first visit to the Dartmouth Club of Southeastern Connecticut. Program Chairman Craig Haines '58 arranged the affair which included not only Dartmouth alumni, but principals and guidance counselors of eleven local high schools, parents of present students, and parents of prospective students. Carroll W. Peavey '26, Principal of Stonington High School, was doubly welcome. Dan Fuller '46, Enrollment Chairman, reported an all-time high of seventeen students have made application for enrollment. Thad promised nothing.

New faces in the crowd were Frank Bean'63, and Dr. Hugh MacNamee '46. Dr. David Schrieber '45 reported back after his recent illness looking better than ever.

Our lack of news recently in no way reflects the activity now in progress in South- eastern Connecticut, but more appropriately reflects this crippled correspondent. We are now, in less than a year, a club of 118 strong, armed with fresh insight, thanks to Dean Seymour, and are aimed towards establishing ourselves as the number one breeding ground for Dartmouth alumni support.

The annual business meeting is next on our agenda. President Corny Miller '39 won't announce the date until his ticket is assured sufficient votes!
