The long awaited Glee Club concert at the Los Angeles Music Center was a. whopping success! Over 2,500 cheered the performance held for the benefit of the Southern California Scholarship Fund which netted $6,800.00 from the most successful event ever arranged by the local alumni association. Months of preparation, meetings and work made this occasion a reality and added greatly to the cohesiveness and spirit of the Dartmouth Alumni Association of Southern California. We wish to extend a special tribute to Gene Givens '55 who served as Chairman; John Lyman '28, Scholarships; MiltOlander '51, Publicity; Tony Frank '53; Pete Reich '53; George Rosenberg '52; Leon Rothschild '24; Tom McCrea '53; John Liebman '56; Bill Myers '57; Perry Weston ;54; Fred Lockyear '59; Chuck Robinson 31; Wes Nutten '51; Tom Cochran '46 and over fifty alumni who subscribed $100,00 as sponsors of the performance. And we thank Professor Paul Zeller and his well-trained men for sharing their talents with us.

At the April luncheon, Lee Abbott 31 spoke on the subject of tax laws and legislation to an attentive group of thirty alumni. Please note that the new location of the monthly luncheons will be held at the Wilshire Town Club, Western & Southern Life Insurance Building (Third Floor), 2600 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles, California.
