The bonfire was the biggest, the fall day the loveliest, the females the prettiest, and the game the greatest. That's the report from Hanover following the Holy Cross weekend. Sue and I ran into many familiar faces and sights and would you believe it, even the Bullet recognized me.
We had a pre-game "lunch" with MikeSlive and Al Rappaport at Mike's pad on Wheelock Street. Mike is, as he puts it, third in line at the Financial Aid Office. Al is busy doctoring and getting out the newsletter with Bob Katz.
Following the game there was a gathering at John Schiffiman's new home in Hanover which doubled as a class officers' meeting. It was unanimously adopted by the officers to arrange a class get-together at Princeton this November. Dick Hofmann was "willing" to handle the details and the Newsletter will elaborate later. In the meantime those of you who can make it drop me a note (post card) and I'll notify Dick.
It was then unanimously adopted that we pay our $6.00 class dues, which amount I then handed over. Let's make john's task easy by getting the assessment in. At this point it was voted to cut the class secretary off, which vote was applauded by the wife of the same. Incidentally if any of you are eager to become involved with the class committee drop me a line.
