There was so little mail for me from you guys this past month that the post office delivered it by hummingbird. Really now men, you simply must take a few seconds every six months or so to write at least a postcard to me so as the rest of the Class can keep tabs on you. The only source of information about you I have is the clipping service and, let's face it, none of us are in the paper that often. Let your wife do it, talk your secretary into doing it, let the family dog do it - but one way or the other, make it a point to let us all know where you are, how many kids you have, and who you work for. Don't let the Class down. Thank you.
The hummingbird dropped off a wedding announcement citing the ceremony between Miss Bonnie Ann Semple and Bill Carlson. Bill and Bonnie were married in October in Cleveland. Bill is a lawyer there with Pendal, Carlson and Reese.
Judge Thomas Russell has honored recently by the College. Tom was selected as "Dartmouth Club President Of The Year" for his outstanding work in bringing the first Dartmouth Alumni Seminar (a sort of traveling Alumni College) to the Pacific Northwest. This is quite an honor for Tom who is probably one of the youngest club presidents anyway and certainly the youngest to win this highest award. Good for you, Judge.
Another man of achievement is Roger McArt. Young McArt will be remembered primarily for his inability to navigate his bike successfully around Hanover during the golden years of undergraduate studies. Since that time, however, McArt has improved considerably. Rog was recently promoted again by Packard Electric Division of General Motors. Roger is now the Assistant Superintendent of Plant 10 in Warren, Ohio. I don't quite know what McArt's job entails but it sounds like he is a very big deal. Quite an impressive conclusion to the story of a guy who couldn't even ride a bike.
Kuril Kruger is back in Vietnam! After serving there with the Navy, Kurn took a job with an American firm which builds things in Vietnam. After finishing that contract, he signed on with another company for Vietnam duty. Kurn is rapidly becoming quite an expert on that part of the world. Any of you guys in the service look Kurn up in Saigon with the Cong-Ty-Shell Company.
