During the afternoon of the Columbia game, a group of executive committee members met in New York to discuss class activities. We began reunion preparations and pre-union meetings. Skip will keep you informed in the Newsletter.

From the West Coast, Gary Silver writes he's having a tremendous time during his first year of surgical residency in San Francisco. He plans to return to his hometown of Cleveland in June, 1968, to continue his heart surgery residency (which will take about five more years to complete). Single, Gary plans a trip to Japan in April. He's written a couple of published research papers and generally seems to be very happy with his work. Apparently while he was doing his internship at Cleveland Clinic last year, he found time to play some rugby with Ken DeHaven '62, Ed Perry '64, and Charlie Brown '64.

From RPI Bud Weinstein sent a note about his progress toward a doctorate in economics. He detoured long enough to marry Marci Kelmon in July up in. Troy, N. Y. Bob Berenbroick was best man and Tom Wells, with wife Rosemary, and TomWasmuth also present. Marci is studying for an M.S. in nursing education at Russell Sage while Bud teaches economics at RPI. He's maintained his interest in jazz by playing with a number of groups in his area and has had a regular weekly jazz program on a local radio station.

Marriage news is slowing down - I think the class bachelor supply is dwindling. Jacques Shure and Mitzi Ann Miron were married in Somerville, N. J., in early October. She is a Syracuse alumna and a systems engineer with IBM in Syracuse, Jacque's hometown. He is working with an oil company there. Patricia Ann Krygier and WallyEldridge were wed over the summer in Delaware. Wally is now at Dickinson Law School; he had been in the Navy. Tom Holgel was married to Mary Ware, a Colby Junior College alumna, on September 30 in Bronxville. Tom is with Technopulp in Upper Montclair; the firm acts as consultants to the pulp and paper industries. RickCrabbe and Nikki Nelson plan their wedding this month in New Jersey. She is with the American Ballet Theater. Rick graduated from Vanderbilt Law School and works with Sperry Rand.

A couple of notes on '63s who are teaching will wrap up this month's effort: RickBorofsky is teaching English in the Avon, Mass., High School. (I wonder what he's done with that red and black checked wool shirt he wore in Hanover?) Joe Casey has joined the faculty at Keene State College in New Hampshire where he's teaching history. Joe is studying for his doctorate at the same time at the University of Maine.
