Sarasota

The Dartmouth Club of Sarasota had its first dinner meeting of the 1966-1967 season, Thursday night December 8, at the Top of the Terrace, Sarasota Motor Hotel, at 6:30 p.m.

Our guest speaker was Art Allyn '35. He gave us a very interesting report on the many activities in which he is engaged in the Sarasota area. It served to confirm what we already believed, that he and his associates are making an immeasurable contribution to our community.

There were 49 in attendance. SumnerEmerson '17 gave the invocation. President Jim Bonnyman '38 presided. Among those in attendance were Roger Billings '23, Holt McAloney '26, Clark Collins '19, George Gregory and Gil Swett, class of '17, Bob Kenyon '07, and Bob Hardy '25.

It was announced that the next dinner will be held Thursday January 19 at which time it is hoped that we will have the motion pictures of the highlights of the 1966 football season.
