June marks the third anniversary of our graduation and many '64's are celebrating it with graduation from law schools. MikeBerne is donning cap and gown in June after three years at Columbia Law School. He plans to join the District Attorney's office in Manhattan. Mike and Doreen Schwartz, formerly of Simmons and now at Ohio State, will be married in July and will live in New York City. "I hope we can expect some visitors next year at our Manhattan apartment."

Ron Schram added a paragraph to the letter I received from Michigan last month organized by Dick Mandell. It is best relayed by quoting: "After two entertaining years at the University of Cambridge in England with a major in European travel and basketball and a minor in economics, I have returned for professional training in my home state. One of the finest experiences of my stay was participation in an eightteam international basketball tournament in Israel last August. I captained the entry from England which turned into a disguise for a second American entry as our team was composed of 7 Americans studying in England and a single Britisher - and he was from Wales. Unfortunately we were not as successful as the real American entry - Univ. of Kentucky took first and we finished fifth."

Ken Lapine is in his last year at Michigan Law and plans to practice law in Cleveland, Ohio, with the firm of Squire, Sanders and Dempsey. Also commencing his law career with the same firm is Bob Burton who is presently finishing up at Duke Law School. Ken relays on the news that Walt Smith is finishing up at Harvard Law School to be followed with an appointment to the Army J.A.G. corps; Bill Fitzhugh is at Harvard getting a degree in Anthropology; ScottCreelman is at Scott Paper Company in Philadelphia; Mike Bloom is back from Bolivia and is now a regional director for the Peace Corps; Dave Donnelley is at Camp Pendleton in California; and Roger Klein is still in rabbinical school in Cincinnati.

Marc Kirschner is also in his last year at Michigan Law and will join the law firm of Chadbourne, Parke, Whiteside and Wolff. He, his wife Linda, and son Jeffrey will live in New York City.

Mike Krueger writes that he was married March 26 to the former Gail Rosenblatt. She is a teacher in New York City where they plan to live. Mike, is presently in his third year at New York Medical College.

I got a long letter the other day from Lee Chilcote and then ran into him in "downtown" Hanover. He was on leave from the Marines just back from Vietnam. He spent most of his tour with the 2nd Battalion, 9th Marines - south of Danang for several months and then up around the DMZ. He participated in Operations Macon, Hastings, and Chinook, to name a few. Lee was serving as intelligence officer for the battalion when his tour ended. He thinks he will be transferred to the Med soon, which should be a welcome change.

John Sottile, who works for Merck, Sharp, and Dohme - a pharmaceutical company, just had to scrap plans for the Boston marathon because of a bout with infectious mono. He writes that when he is not pushing "acid," he attends night school at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute where he is working for an M.S. in management. He relays on the information that Bill Riggs is studying architecture in Vienna, Austria, working with Hans Hollien. During the Christmas season they were designing an architectural Christmas tree. John claims that Bill is the only designer of Orgone boxes living today, which very well may be true.

P.S. Moose Mountain does have a zip code.
