The first (of what we hope to be annual) Mid-Winter Frolic was held Tuesday, January 10, at the East Bay Lodge in Osterville, Mass.
Over 50 Dartmouth men and their wives attended what turned out to be a very successful party. The affair was planned by Al Lagacy '27, program chairman of the Club. He was assisted by the executive committee.
The evening consisted of a warm-up period and then a fine dinner during which the winner (Frank Mackedom '23) of the Scholarship Fund Raffle was drawn.
After dinner the Club watched the film strip of the Dartmouth group's trip down the Danube. The evening tapered off with a few old Dartmouth songs. Everyone seemed to be satisfied with the mid-winter interlude and the Dartmouth good fellowship.
Among those attending: Pudge Neidlinger '23, Charlie Moore '25, Eddie Edwards '25, Ike Besse '34, Charlie Earle '22, Frank Ross '21, Al Lagacy '27, Jack Clark '19, Frank Mackedon '23, Sydney Clark '12, Howard Anger '2l, Pete Olds '17, Bert Phinney '19 Frank Cloran '27, Frank Sheehy '24, Dolph Alger '21, John Alger '53, George Gilpatric '31, Bill Carto '19.
