Houston's month was highlighted by the visit of Admissions Director Eddie Chamberlain '36 to the Bayou City. Eddie brought us an up-to-date picture of the College's operations as well as admissions program at a dinner meeting held at our beautiful new Cullen Center Hotel America. Thirty-eight Dartmouth men and their ladies gathered for the evening including Dr. Ray Alexanian '52, Ben Benner '69, Dick Zartler '62, Bob Bucher '64, John Wolfe '46, Al Cook '62, Dr. R. P. Williams '42, Frank Weber '47, Dwight Edson '18, Henry Fry '53, Harlan Taylor '29, Frank Stephens '61, Bob Garrity '61, Duncan Gray '60, Club Secretary Burres Head '27, Roger Stanwood '39, Hampton Rich '69, Club Vice President Ben Page '42, Bill Lee '41, Bob Manka '61a, George Magoon '46, and our President Chuck Noll '53.

We also took advantage of Eddie's timely visit to organize a workshop afternoon session for both promising candidates for admission and their counselors from Houston's high schools. We are quite pleased with our representation among present Dartmouth students and Enrollment Chairman FrankStephens '61 feels confident this year will provide an even larger group of admissions candidates.

The Houston Club welcomed a new member at our recent monthly luncheon: AlCook '62. Al has returned to Houston to take a position with the local Model Cities program.
