'22's Annual Little Reunion will be April 25-26 at the Hanover Inn. As requested by a few young classmates, the dates now differ from those previously announced. These dissident kids, mainly former members of Company I and still well on the immature side of 70, demanded confrontation because they had not been consulted in the decision-making. They vigorously contended denial of their rights to protest and to demonstrate their views vocally and visibly. With newly developed vocabularies they protested so vehemently that the "establishment" resorted to the pragmatism of "Beat 'em if ya can, join 'em if ya can't." So, chalk up another victory for impetuous youth. Yet it leaves '22 ideologically harmonized and fully integrated for a most happy and well attended Little Reunion on April 25-26.

Fortunately, the Hanover Inn on April 25-26 is hosting conventions of neither The Society for Instant Change nor The Union for Preservation of Ancient Customs. Consequently, rooms will be available to '22 upon requests to the Inn for reservations.

As customary, the Reunion will be co-educational, so bring your favorite coed and all your grand little coeds. Beautiful spring weather is forecast; the always consulted Old Farmer's Almanac says, "You've had your showers, now for the flowers." Moreover, you have positive assurance that there will be absolutely no generation nor communication gaps; in fact you might have to squirm a bit to get a few words in edgewise. In all, it will be grand fun and many returnees and some newcomers are expected to join in. Hope you do, too. Call or write the Hanover Inn (603-643-4300).

Classmates and class sons appear among the many alumni who serve the College as officers of Dartmouth Clubs around the world. Wally Mountcastle is president and secretary of the Dartmouth Club of the Gold Coast, Fort Lauderdale, Fla. PhyaMontri Donavanick is honorary past president of the Dartmouth Club of Thailand, Bangkok. Hal Clark serves as secretary of the Pioneer Valley Dartmouth Club, Holyoke-Northampton, and Russ Putney as secretary of the Cheshire County Dartmouth Alumni Association, Keene, N. H. JohnBrower is treasurer of the Dartmouth Club of Ontario. Among class sons, Charles E. Tayntor '54, son of Hal and Elizabeth Tayntor, is secretary of the Dartmouth Club of Central Connecticut, New Britain, and Samuel H. Daniell '52, son of Warren and MaryDaniell, is president of the Ascutney Dartmouth Club, Springfield, Vt. Peter M. Pu{. len '57, as noted later on, is likewise a class son serving the College in Alumni Club activities. To all of them thanks from '22 for your work for Dartmouth.

The Class is saddened by the loss of three classmates: Daniel W. Kincaid Jr., LeonardH. Vancore, and Ivan M. Young. In Memoriam notices will appear when additional facts are obtained.

In Hopkins Center the Strauss Gallery, which no classmate. can enter without deep gratitude to our Jack and Lillian Strauss, presented an interesting mid-winter exhibit of Early Massachusetts Silver dating from the period of the Colonies and Early Republic. With significant examples the exhibit illustrated major aspects of the story of Massachusetts silversmithing including work by Paul Revere, Benjamin Burt, George Hanners, Jacob Hurd, and John Coney. And, completely confidentially, '22 has its own silversmith in Haskell Cohn who practices the art as a hobby. Only his youth prevented his work from being included in the fine collection on exhibit.

Number 80, the lad who caught passes and punted - and did both exceptionally well - for freshman football is now number 52 on the freshman track team. The 6-3, 205 lb. young man, who tosses the 35 lb. weight with ease, is Paul Pullen, son of Dr. Markey Pullen. Paul's brother, Peter '57, was also a "weight" tosser in track as well as a football and baseball man. Peter is now a businessman in New Canaan, Conn., where he and his wife, Barbara, are parents of four children. As secretary of the Dartmouth Club of New Canaan-Ridgefield-Wilton, the Wilton Bulletin noted him as the man in charge of arrangements when Prof. Herbert F. West addressed the club last autumn at the Woodway Country Club in New Canaan.

If the motif this month seems to be class sons it's only because '22 takes pride in their accomplishments. It was most pleasing, for example, to see Gordon K. Lenci '56 receive Wah Hoo Wah acclamation upon his appointment as Headmaster of the Barstow School, Kansas City, Mo. Now the Class takes further delight in giving an Indian Yell for his parents, our Tom and Louise Lenci.

And sometime it would be delectable to have these '22 notes filled with news about class daughters if mothers - or even fathers - would only learn to write.

Ed and Marian Lane prove the restless generation is not all under 30. They have sold their home in Wellesley and bought a new home at Ponta Vedra Beach, Fla. Just across a lagoon bordering a golf fairway, the location obviously raises the question: would visiting Twoters be permitted to fish for lost golf balls? Anyway, hope the Lanes stay home more than they did in Wellesley - a year ago they traveled to Iceland, Sweden, Russia, Finland, and Denmark. And late rumors for this winter placed Ed and Marian in South America.

Dr. John and Pat McKoan spent the winter in Worcester after an autumn trip to Vancouver, Lake Louise, Banff, and Jasper National Park in the Canadian Rockies. Hearsay has it that they are still starry-eyed from the golf at Banff and Jasper.

Back from Europe, Stan and CatherineMiner visited Hanover in January on their way to Florida. They sailed (Raffaello) to and (Michelangelo) from the Mediterranean stopping at Madeira, Gibraltar, Barcelona, Naples and Genoa. Debarking at Cannes they spent Christmas with daughter Catherine wife of Ronald Murphy '55, and their two children in Monte Carlo. Yes, it's true that Princess Grace still looks younger than springtime.

Decision-time is approaching for Twoters thinking of coming back to Alumni College in August. Last year Carroll and NanDwight, Dr. Ed and Dorothy Cramton, and Larry and Jeanne Robinson were '22's scholars. Ask them or Ike Miller if you want to know what makes Alumni College so popular.

Heard in Hanover's delicatessen.

Bill and Betty Mann come up from Cape Cod frequently to visit son John '62, his wife, Beth, and their children. Reports indicate the Manns and many other classmates fully enjoy life on the Cape.

Carter Hoyt represented 22 at the January meeting of Class Agents. Since early autumn he has been busily working, as usual, in planning and organizing '22's Alumni Fund activities.

With best wishes to Johnny and AnnaShea in Miami, all classmates will be pleased to know Johnny is recovering - and hopefully by now fully so - from serious illness last spring.
