Since we're in the midst of our Fund Drive this month's column was turned over to our Head Class Agent, Jack Reno. Here s his message: "Bob Elmore and Joe Zuin have over-all responsibility for contact and special appeals to members of our Class through ten regional directors. These ten are Bill Hutton, Bob Vincent, Ron Wybranowski, Al Orschel, Don Shropshire, MikeHecht, Jeff Conn, Oscar Arslanian, TerryO'Neil, and Dan Tracy. Each of these ten will work through the Class Agents m his geographic area. We expect to have about ninety Agents. Many of these people are working also on the Third Century Fund and interviewing admission candidates for the College. Such activity is a good, sign of interest by our Class in the College s future as well as the years 1957-1961. I would encourage others to consider helping with the Alumni Fund next year when the appeal o-oes out. I would also ask that this year every person when asked to give, respond only after reflecting on what Dartmouth really has meant to you, not just while we were in college, but since then also. Too often in the past I, for one, have simply written a check or gave away some profit in a stock without really thinking how much each gift of some size can actually mean. All I ask is that we all think about it before acting."
