BUI Ferrier is spending his spring working for the Berkeley Family Research Center « an interviewer on the study of psychotic drugs. He also is wrestling with his draft board and discovermg that a C.O. classification is not too easy to get.

Other names in this month's news include Lt. Dave Smith who is leading an infantry platoon somewhere in the northern sector of RVN for the Marines. Leo Maciejewski is teaching school in Lansing, Ohio. Chuck Cochran was attending Military Police School at Fort Gordon, Ga., the last we knew with hopes of transferring to OCS in the near future. Lt j.g. Pat Harty graduated from Naval Supply Corps School and is now stationed in Newport News, Va. Pat and wife Patty (Green Mtn. '66, Simmons '68) were expecting an addition to the family as I wrote this column. (Class of 1990?) Ed Bloomberg is taking a vacation from his first year at Harvard Law this month (come to think of it, isn't everybody?), to fly to Kentucky for the Kentucky Derby where Virginia Delegate, a horse of which Ed owns part, will race. If Ed's hopeful even places, the Cambridge class agent will drop by to acquaint him with a Derby we run of our own. Good luck, Ed! GaryBrooks is in Chicago working as a junior executive in a bank while in the same city Bob Bednarz is working on a geography/teaching fellowship at Northwestern. CalvinJones is a warrant officer helicopter pilot in Vietnam along with Doc Hagan who is serving as an Army medic. And all of the above information comes from Bob DuPuy to whom I gratefully send the best wishes of the class, as he operates the Intelligence section of the 504th MP Bn located in Phu Bai, a suburb of Hue.

The Dartmouth Club of Southern California wrote recently to announce a wonderful project they have undertaken. Their "Friend Indeed Committee" has been set up to help Dartmouth men from or in that area in any way they possibly can, other than financial.
