Hello out there, fellows. How's the sun look? On your way to the New Hampshire slopes this winter, stop by for some fortitude.

Dave Singleton just made the big home-buying step and is now a bona fide pay- ment maker and resident of Exeter, N.H. Dave keeps busy at the University of N.H. where he is in the Dean's office.

If you're having trouble with the stock market these days, stop in and see JoshuaRich on your Florida vacation. Josh is an assistant research director of Reynolds and Co. in Fort Lauderdale. Joshua recently was one of three speakers at an Investment Forum held at Fort Lauderdale. Josh landed in the south after a brief tour with Prudential Insurance Company.

The next black-out we can blame on John Stevens who has been named executive assistant to the chairman of the board at New England Electric System. John picked up his MBA from B.U. in 1968 and has been affiliated with New England Power Service Company since 1964.

Moving up the literary ladder is BillHjortsberg whose most recent publication, "Alp," is widely acclaimed as one of the best works of any young author. Gatz hit the Yale Drama School after Dartmouth and was also a Stegner Fellow at Stanford. Gatz and the Mrs. added Lorca to the family two and a half years ago. As Bill says, "I write mostly on whim."

A candidate for magistrate in the Pittsburgh area last fall was Doug Walgren. Doug jumped into the political arena following a tour of service with the Neighborhood Legal Services Association. Prior to that he grabbed his law degree at Stanford and clerked for the California Superior Court. The big question is, did he win?

I've got some oldies but goodies hanging on and am looking for some up-to-date news.

Allen Priouix, are you still sending the news from Paris for U.P.I.? Allen hit the European scene following a stop-over in Honolulu where he was manager for the Hawaiian Islands. Guess maybe digging up those scoops for the Daily D paid off.

The last we heard was that GordonOwens was heading up the data processing system and development section for Stone Container Corporation in Chicago. Gordon and Karen with Gordon Jr. have set up home at 2103 Washington Ave. in Wilmette, Ill. Anything to add, Gordi?

Jim Connaughton is winding up his residency at University Hospital in Philadelphia where he occasionally bumps into Chris and Steve Martindale. Chris reports seeing some familiar, but sad faces at Princeton.

Penny Barbour caught the eye of BillObenshain about a year ago and rumors have it that they are settled in Chicago doing something. Any word, Bill? Orange County in Tennessee is the home for Dianne and Kent Morton where Kent still takes pictures for Kodak. The Mortons had a get-together in California last summer with Marilee and Sam Anderson and their two charming daughters, Sarah and Mary.

The go-nad squad seems to have invaded the legal profession. Gordi Williamson translates Massachusetts law while wife Marelene struggles with the family at home, the most recent addition being daughter Lianna. Chuck Church has switched from night law school to full time. You must really like it, Chuck. Don Samuelson is now the assistant dean at the University of Chicago Law School and Betsy and Gary Spiess are domiciled in Massachusetts where Betsy tends to Will and Jamie and Spider hits the court room trail.

For those of you who have been asking, the addresses are Mrs. John A. Porter, 2316 43rd St., Missoula, Mont. 59801, and Mrs. Thomas P. Cranna, 2728 Chaven Ave., South Minneapolis, Minn. 55416.

Once again it's time to package the monthly report and send it out to Crosby Hall, late as usual. How about brightening the winter days with some news?
